"I don't usually write negative reviews but I had to with this hostel. First off, the staff were great, no complaints there. I never stayed in the dorm area as they were all booked so no comment there. I had a loft style room. The stairs up to it were very steep. I can see someone falling on the way down if they've had a few too many. One of the steps was very rotted out and felt like it may give way any day. "Lots of small things that added up to this not being a nice experience. Maybe because it is low season, but zero hostel vibes. There were actually families staying with small kids that would literally start screaming and shouting at 7am and won't stop. Ants everywhere, to the point that it was impossible to eat some of the things at breakfast. Cockroaches in the room. Staff asking me over breakfast to rate the hotel online with a QR code, and then it actually turned out to be their bar. Did not...
