"Dedee was a wonderful host. The room was clean and had everything we needed. It was very quiet even though other guests were staying there. Hot Breakfast was a great surprise. Would stay here again if ever in the area."

"It was close to all the shops, bars, and restaurants. Also close to the Uncle Sam Boat Tours. It was a little outdated and the parking lot gets cramped. Also the sheets were dingy and bug splattered on the wall."

"Not much to do in A Bay but cruise the river; visit Heart Island and for that purpose this place is great. It is literally above the boat dock for most of Uncel Sam's boats so you cannot be any closer to that attraction. However some nits to pick; yes the old building has been refurbished but not recently; it is clean and well kept but lacks the amenities I have come mostly to expect. For example, the flat screen TV is Standard Def only, so if you are used to hi def prepare for disappointment...

"I absolutely loved everything about the property. I can probably take the responsibility for the fact that it appeared to me that it was going to be closer to the river then it was. It is on the river. My room was a couple hundred yards down the hill to the river. Not a big deal for me could be for others"
