"Peaceful, comfortable and fun. The place came as advertised, right on Gouldsboro Bsy. An eagle was hanging out right next to us! It is close to the Schoodic section of Acadia National Park. We hiked and biked there, the views of the coast are phenomenal. We also hiked on the Pigeon Hill Preserve in Steuben, great views from there as well. "

"This property is everything and then some. We had a wonderful week of pure Maine beauty all around us. Bring binoculars!! We watched the seals everyday and even had a couple deer in the back yard one evening. Peaceful, beautiful, and the house has everything you need. We will definitely return to this property!"

"This was authentic Maine - lovely cabin located in the trees. It was a nice getaway from the crowds. Beds were comfortable and everything was as described. Would definitely stay there again. "Quiet and Secluded. We had a great time sitting around the fire, great memories, very clean, The kids had a great time. The top bunk mattress was fine for my 8 year old but would have been a bit stiff for me. My older son slept on the futon he loved it. Plenty of towels, The water heater is a small one but we could each get nice hot showers if we waited a bit between. It would reheat quickly for the next shower. "

"Our family of four had a wonderful stay at this property. The house was spacious and clean. Kitchen had some pantry essentials and everything needed to cook some nights. The grocery store is 3-5 minutes away. The drive toAcadia took us an hour and ten minutes to an hour and a half due to traffic getting on the island. It was nice to come back to the quiet house each evening. Would highly recommend."

"We had a great time at this property. The house we clean, cozy and stocked with everything you could need! Beds were super comfy. Easy walk right down to the bay, and we saw and eagle and seals! Take a ride to Roque Bluffs and enjoy the quiet beach, and visit Jasper Beach to hear the rock music!"

"We had a fantastic stay at this cozy, clean, and welcoming cabin in rural coastal Maine. It's in a peaceful, private setting surrounded by beautiful nature, with incredible starry nights and horses nearby. The location is perfect for exploring charming local towns, swimming in nearby lakes, picking blueberries, and visiting Acadia National Park. The host was very responsive and friendly. It’s a place we definitely want to come back to!"

"We really enjoyed our stay. Sandy beaches are rare for this area, and our kids had a great time exploring the rocky coastline and playing in the sand. We saw interesting wildlife, and watched the boats go in and out of the bay each day. The property was clean and well-maintained, and the owners were excellent communicators, responding right away to any questions that we had."

"My wife and I felt very lucky to have found The Miners Den which is a very new creation of a great proprietor who really cares about your experience.The hand built cabin is gently fitted to the landscape of balsam firs and hardwoods with a light touch.It reminded me of the few small cabins in the White Mountains you find along the trails.Everything you need less food is provided.For a couple in their sixties with a friendly dog we will be excited to get back there and see what’s happening.Oh...

"This was such an amazing stay, I highly recommend it. Check in was very easy and straight forward. The bathroom was right next to the shed and was very clean inside. We had a bit of a problem with the power, but they fixed it within 5 minutes of me texting them. We had a tour of the farm which was the highlight of my Maine trip. Wish we stayed longer, thank you so much for an amazing/unique stay!! "
