"The cottage was cute! Although the green couch could use replacing. The hosts were amazing!Kitchen needs measuring cups and spoons but overall it was fantastic! We would definitely go back. "

"The property is beautiful and access to the lake is perfect! "

"We rented this property with two other families and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place was clean, spacious, and well-stocked with towels, kitchen essentials, and even some outdoor toys and life jackets. We made use of the kayaks, hockey nets and basketball net. Justin is extremely prompt with communication and a pleasure to deal with. Location is less than 10 minutes off of Highway 400 - very convenient for those coming from the GTA. Would definitely recommend!"

"Great quiet location away from the city. Cute little cottage - enough for a couple. Close to small town of Bala. Only issue was the heat in the living area. Need more heaters and blinds in the living room. "

"We really enjoyed our family getaway over the Labour Day. The cottage is cute and is a close drive to Bala. It would be have been preferable to be waterfront or have better lake access but the place was clean, the owners were nice and the area is still lovely. "

"Beautiful spot with incredible view. Just a few minor details overlooked. More cooking pots/pans would be handy, as well as additional tea, towels, washcloths, and dish cloths. A recommendation might be to cut back the trees in the entrance slightly as to allow for a safer exit onto busy roadway. Overall, Wonderful for a relaxing vacation. Paddle boards on site were certainly appreciated. "

"My friend and I had the most relaxing and peaceful time at this gem of a cottage. Had everything we needed to have a quiet down time away from our family! "

"It was paradise, couldnt of asked for a better spot. The cottage has everything you could possibly need. I think we used every accommodation it had to offer and it did not disapoint. Simon is a 10/10 host, it is obvious he takes very good care of his properties, he made sure we were good and left us to our selves. We hope to go north again next year and we will for sure be contacting Simon. PS the fishing was great!"

"This was a great cottage for friends or family. Great access to the lake, and local amenities. I would highly recommend."

"We were really happy with our 3 night stay - our kids shared the room with the bunk beds while the two adult couples split up the remaining two rooms. We spent most of our time out at the dock - swimming, fishing and kayaking. Only minor point for improvement is the need for a few more outdoor chairs but otherwise the property was fantastic. Fully stocked kitchen made the experience seamless. We'd definitely book again."

"We had an amazing weekend. Clean, lake front, great fishing off the dock; watch out for the pike we put up a great fight, and accommodating, with enmities in short distance. Would definitely bring the fam again next year. "

Our only problem was that being our first time staying in muskoka in the winter we were not prepared for everything being closed. It is a pretty location and I'm sure in the summer there are more options. "

"We had an excellent stay - the home is very spacious and clean and had everything we needed for our visit. The kitchen is well-equipped and we were able to cook / eat together for every meal. Beatriz was quick to respond to messages and a great host. "

"We had an amazing weekend staying at this cottage as a family. The house was spacious, had everything we needed and was really clean. The upstairs bathroom was particularly lovely and had a nice bathtub and bath/shower products. We spent a lot of time sitting on the big dock and swimming in the lake, and also made use of the 2 stand-up paddle boards. They had beach towels, water shoes and some life jackets which is super nice. The lawn at the back is huge and a nice spot to play soccer or...
