"I will commence by stating that this is not my first visit to The Mariner's. It is and will be my first choice for staying in Haverfordwest. So, clearly, i have stayed in a large number of their rooms. You have to know or remember that the building is historic having been in operation since 1625, so don't expext the rooms to be uniform in proportion. Having said that, they are generously sized with, for the most part, large and bright bathrooms. The room i had this time had the largest shower...

"We stayed here to celebrate our anniversary, drove over 4hrs and was not disappointed. The grounds are absolutely stunning, our room was simply amazing. The staff are very friendly and cant do enough to make your stay comfortable. The cooked breakfast was delicious! We will definitely be back soon. The rare bats that live in the tower are a really lovely feature to an already incredible venue, when we arrived it was dusk and they were very active, a real sight to behold. "Great location for day trips to anywhere in Pembrokeshire, especially Skomer. Overlooking the marina and only 5 minutes walk from a wide selection of good cafes and restaurants, but their own food is good too! Friendly staff. Rooms are spacious and well equipped but the bed was a little hard for me (like most hotels). Not all rooms have baths but I was able to change at no extra cost. "

"Good bed, good sized shower, good breeze through the window. The breakfast hours are too early nd too short, and you apparently have to reserve a table for dinner, but they do room service and it was quick and delicious. They desperately need WiFi extenders."
