"First off , the staff.. so so amazing. I had gotten food poisoning from a tour I did, and they were so helpful keeping me hydrated and had tablets to let me enjoy my vacation.
The food options were great, many options. This can just be your stay without ever visiting town. The view was jaw dropping everyday. Aircon was strong , even had to turn it off it got so cold. Room was well kept , and no issues with mosquitos unless you kept door open.
Cons might be the cost of getting into town, cost...
"PROS:
ULTRA secluded, most quiet location by the ocean that you might ever find, with a very chill vibe. Half mile long white fine sandy beach, which often you will have all to yourself due to the closure/ bankruptcy of the neighboring resort. The locals in this region are very friendly, and will actually acknowledge and smile to tourists. Hot water and A/C are available.
Good road around the island, but some steep hills. Our tricycle with luggage did not make one of them. The ladies/ hostesses...
"Very pretty area. Definitely a great place if you just want to stay and not adventure out because town an attractions are a hour plus drive about 4,000 peso. I would also bring your own snacks an drink because you get one option"
"Checking in was a bit of a hassle. The caretakers couldn’t find my reservation and then had to contact the owner of the property who also couldn’t find my reservation. When it was finally found they tried to place us in a different room with a shared bathroom than what I originally booked. I had to show my reservation again and say that I wanted the room I paid for that had the private bathroom. This was remedied but took some time. "

Kein Wifi, kein Privststrand, man darf nicht ins Wasser wegen Quallen, kein Restaurant,
die Tür zum "Bad" konnte nicht geschlossen werden weil verzogen, keine Dusche nur ein Schlauch mit Eimer, das Geländer die steilen Steinstufen zum Bungalow hoch war morsch und knickte um wenn man sich abstützte (bin dadurch hingefallen), Ameisen im Zimmer. Bin nicht eingezogen.
Habe sofort eine neue Unterkunft gesucht.

"First ferry transfer was 2 hours after they said they would be there. Second ferry transfer was 1 hour after they said they would leave. Can't trust them to make reliable plans. Pools were so dirty you could use them. Pubes in the bathroom on arrival. Food was not good and expensive. Staff were friendly. Mini jet skis, $500 pesos for half an hour were fun. Kayaks at $300 pesos an hour were not worth it. Clean air though."
