"A bit of an adventure getting to the hotel as it is located at the top of a very steep drive way that meanders though a coconut and pepper plantation. Once there however, the views are great and the ambiance tranquil. The balcony overlooks tree tops, which for anyone seeking a quiet hideaway, this place is perfect."

"We have been travelling throughout Sri Lanka staying in hotels for a couple of nights each time, this one was FABULOUS, from the moment you come through the gates, you feel that you're somewhere special, you are then presented with a beautiful turn of century colonial house, the room was HUGE with high ceilings and the biggest antique four poster bed you've ever seen, and matching furniture, the fully modern bathroom is accessed through and old antique door, and the waterfall shower was superb....

"Probably the most beautiful and peaceful accommodation in Sri Lanka. Stunning resort architecturally designed keeping heritage to the fore and set high in beautiful hilltop location surrounded by forests. The large swimming pool presenting just the right level of luxury for an evening or morning dip.
The professional and friendly staff were always on hand but never imposing. First class meals and service in the restaurant or a romantic dinner for two on each villas' roofed patio.
