"We were expecting the unrivaled scenery of Ireland. But to be able explore from a cozy remodeled police station was icing on the cake. Every room was clean and well stocked right down to the wood and coal for the fireplace. The hostess was warm and so helpful. We felt like we had known her forever. I will be recommending this property to family and especially to business clients that need a chance to decompress. THANK YOU SHIELA AND VRBO."

"We stayed as a family with two children for one week in July 2025 in this cottage.Good:It’s a spacious cottage set in a well-kept, large garden with a clothesline. The location is great for exploring the coast, Sligo, and the Ox Mountains, and it’s very quiet.There are four bedrooms, a living room, a dining room, and a kitchen with a washing machine. "Comfortable stay, K was great on helping us find the home. Instructions were clear on how to get into cottage and turn on water heater. I would suggest a coffee bar and light bulbs. I would stay again. K even checked on us"

"After a couple of weeks seeing the UK and Ireland with 9 of our kids and grandkids, we wanted a few days to rest. We loved being in the Sligo area and dining at the nearby Beach Bar. Downpatrick Head was great to see & we even drove to the Giant’s Causeway while we were in the area. Sheila’s house was a nice place to rest and relax. We loved attending church in nearby Screen. A great ending to a great trip!"
