Location: Hyannis, Cape Cod, Massachusetts, USA (Center Cape location)At the Yachtsman complex. Note this is the only Yachtsman unit currently listed on VRBO that is directly on the beach. Others show beach views taken from common areas.
Accommodations: Town House Condominium- Three Bedrooms, Three Baths (sleeps 6 plus 2 children 18 years and under).
Ocean waters surround the property with its own private beach on Lewis Bay and only a short walk of about 100 yards along a sandy beach, from the unit's first-floor deck to the public beach on Nantucket Sound. The complex has a reputation for being one of the best-maintained properties on Cape Cod. It is within walking distance to the famous Kennedy compound in one direction and the boats to the islands and downtown Hyannis in the other direction. The private beach and the heated pool with a lifeguard on duty at all times make the Yachtsman the best family vacation place on Cape Cod.
The village of Hyannis is the most exciting town on the Cape. There is something for the whole family there. Ice cream parlors, candy shops, miniature golf, and even a merry-go-round and a penny arcade for the kids. Some of the finest restaurants, boutiques, and gift shops for mom and dad and nightclubs for younger couples and singles, all within walking distance from the complex. It is a short drive to the Cape Cod Mall, one of the finest in Massachusetts. The sightseeing Whale Watching Boats is also a short drive away.
The unit has three completely-furnished bedrooms including built-in air-conditioning and TVs in each room. There are over 2000 square feet of living space with spectacular ocean views from the living room, dining room, kitchen, master bedroom, den, and three outside decks. Its sandy beach and heated pool with a lifeguard always on duty make it ideal for a family vacation. The unit with its spacious bedrooms and three baths will accommodate six adults plus two children 12 and under in age very comfortably.

Please note the state of Massachusetts enacted a lodging tax on all short-term rentals effective January 1st, 2019. The tax includes a state tax, city tax, and waste disposal tax. I have discounted our weekly rates charged by local real estate agents for Beach Front Units, similar to ours at the Yachtsman, to share the burden of the lodging tax and fees with you. Please feel free to contact your favorite Real Estate agent on the Cape to verify your savings.
During the Corona Virus situation, we will refund the deposit and fees for any related cancelation prior to May 1st, 2021. After that date or for any other need to cancel the owner's cancelation policy outlined in the House Rules section apply. Note since renting through VRBO I have had several cancelations for various reasons and all received their deposits back

A credit card processing fee and extra parking fee of $175 will be applied to the reservation's payment details under the term "Host Fee."

VRBO administers all the Fees and Taxes as well as the security deposit

*** NOTE - we normally take the last week of June for our family cape cod vacation because historically the weather is usually great and the crowds have not arrived and the ocean water have warmed - the hated pool is open every day - unfortunately we in this dated are not able do to that this year so we have offer our home this year at substantial reduction of the normal in season rate
