"The cottage was exactly as pictured and described. It was very comfortable and cozy. The owner was very responsive to an issue we had (which turned out to be a non-issue). The cottage was well supplied. The neighbors were very friendly and there was easy access to the river. The store at the end of the street sold basic items, which was convenient. The bar behind the store was awesome for a cold beer and meeting neighbors. It was a great neighborhood to walk my dogs."

"Perfectly located adjacent to shops, restaurants, local historical attractions, a beautiful view and riverside park with a paved walking path. Easy drive to state parks, other river towns. The kitchen & living area were very welcoming - the sofa, very comfortable. The matresses and pillows were mediocre, although clean and sufficient. "We had an excellent weekend at the Luxury Lodges. The house was stocked with everything we needed, from linens and towels to cookware and paper products. It was very clean as well. The property is secluded for privacy and offers a beautiful view of the Mississippi River. The basement is an open area with games to play as well . We will definitely stay again, hopefully in the near future."

"We loved everything about this house! The suites are great, kitchen is well stocked, plenty of room for our family vacation. We also loved the location, we took day trips to Galena and Dyersville. We enjoyed outdoor games in the yard, went to the golf/mini-golf course, as well as other attractions in Dubuque. We appreciate the owners attention to details and the pristine condition of the home. The best VRBO house we have stayed in. "

"Perfect for us. Cozy, clean, and comfortable.We enjoy coffee and tea in the morning in the four season room. We didn't need for anything. Wonderful, friendly and knowledgeable host. Excellent location. We enjoyed walks and loved watching the barges go by. We will stay again when in the area."

"Morning coffee on the deck was amazing with water run and sound of nature. The kids and husband loved playing with pool table and foosball. Kitchen had everything we needed. Loved having the garage space for dog kennels. Our dogs enjoyed the outside space too run and play. Plenty of seating areas where we also enjoyed a few Netflix movies. Host was fast to reply to our messages. "
