Well, I will start out by saying communication leading up to our stay was excellent as well as the property itself. Unfortunately, when we arrived the place was very dirty. I am not a clean freak but what we encountered was absolutely disgusting. The bedding was covered in dirt and stains, the dishes and cabinets were dirty and the floors were so dirty our white socks were stained black. Some of the dirt washed out of the bedding which tells me they were never cleaned in the first place. There was a white comforter that looked like someone rolled in the red dirt all day and came back and plopped down on the bed. I have no idea how they didn’t notice when they made the bed. The bathmats were obviously used and dirty as well. It took me two days to get everything washed before the rest of our party arrived. Now they charged my credit card, without notifying me ahead of time, for stains on the bedding. They also had kitchen drawers that were broke and my husband kindly fixed them. I know, it was my mistake for not notifying them when we arrived. I figured I rather take care of it myself instead of having someone enter the home while we were gone with our belongings there. I understand, things happen and if the owners don’t live nearby they may not know how the cleaning staff are doing. I was going to let them know after I left a positive review. Unfortunately, I will not be returning and I caution anyone thinking about staying here. If you choose to, take photos!
