"We had a fabulous time at this home! What a perfect place to end summer! We had a great time reading on the dock, watching the sunset and the birds - including bald eagles! There are also lots of ways to enjoy the outside - firepit, grill, kayaks, crab traps, etc. And the beds are super comfy and the kitchen well outfitted for cooking delicious food. Truly a gem!"

"Another wonderful stay at this absolute jewel of a place. We had an amazing weekend and our kids loved every minute of it (even though it rained!). The house is perfect for 2 couples with kids. Communication with Rob and Clarissa was super easy, the house was spotless, and we were very comfortable. We’ll be coming up again soon!!"

"Wow! What an incredible property and house. We were a group of families with small kids, and it was heaven for them playing in the pool, on the dock, on the playground, and in the expansive yard. Lots of beautiful sunsets on the patio for the grown-ups too. We never had to leave. Can't recommend highly enough. "

"Another fantastic stay! Everything about the house in comfortable, plenty of seating, places to eat, areas within the house to talk, play games, etc.. The kitchen has what you need to cook a meal or bring in some crabs and eat them on the screened-in porch. Every bed is comfortable. The view is perfect and we were fortunate to have some hot September weather and take advantage of the pool. Just a short drive to Easton and St Michael, but remote enough to feel like you are really getting away...

"The home was spacious and clean. We appreciated the comfortable beds and linens.The kitchen is well stocked and functions well.Simply and nicely decorated.We looked forward to kayaking and enjoyed that, but,it is quite mushy getting down and into the water. We went to all the recommended locations and enjoyed them all. It is a quiet location, free of traffic and crowds. After our stay at the blue heron we finished the day at st Michael’s just 48 minutes from the blue heron…… it’s a lovely...

"Great property. Great host. Already booked it for next year. We have17 people in our family and this property was perfect for our large group. Great location on the River, property was huge. Plenty of room for my grandchildren to play wiffle ball and catch. Great fishing, my sons and grandchildren caught a bunch of stripers. Kitchen was well stocked, filtered tap water and a large ice maker. Highly recommended."

"What a beautiful property! The minute you walk in the front door, you are treated to a gorgeous view of the water. My adult family thoroughly enjoyed the house, the pool, the yard, dock, kayaks, bikes, hammocks, fire pit, sunset view, and more! This house is ideally situated on the water, and not far from Easton, which has some great restaurants and is very charming. Thank you to the hosts for being so responsive and for sharing their lovely home with us. We hope to return soon!"
