"Wonderful place! Didn't want to leave. The view was amazing and the staff were very gracious. The facility was the perfect size for two people. No complaints whatsoever. A couple of tips: some convenience items are available for purchase in the main office which are not on display and there is a small sign for them (ice, bug spray etc). And the road is unpaved and pretty rough coming in but to be expected with such great seclusion. "

"We stayed at Down on Main one Christmas and fell in love with the property and the town so decided to check it out without the snow. We wanted to stay in UP on Main this time and I love both levels of this building. Matt is a stellar host and the house is lovely. Located right in the heart of the town within walking distance of everything. The Trolleys are so convenient and you must take the Tram tour. There is so much to do here and it's beautiful in May. We are planning our next trip to this...

"We had a great stay at this property. Perfect way to reconnect and getaway from the busy day to day. My husband, 3 year old and I enjoyed the beach access to the lake, the comfort of the home and the ease of getting into town to get essentials and get back to relaxing at the lake. The property was clean, the host was responsive to messages and requests, we will definitely be returning with friends to share the experience with next time!"

"The owners/property managment were very accommodating. I brought my two little ones along. I would say this is geared more for older kids and adults but we enjoyed getting out of the house and they were very open about the height of the deck which made me nervous w the little ones- my fault, not theirs. "Property was as stated, loved that they had card and board games, kiddos loved that. Was great to unplug and just relax. Rained both nights there and the rain on the metal roof was calming and relaxing. Spoke to owner on arrival we were bout hour early and they said we could check in early. We will def book again."

"My daughter and I stayed here over Memorial weekend and had an amazing time. I cant quite put into words how much we loved this place. It smells like history and books. There is an entire wall of so many different books - I wish I could stay for a year to relax and read them all! They also have dvds, video games, puzzles, and board games. "House is perfect for families. One large main house and a guest house separated by a pool. The kids loved it. On last night's stay there was a tornado and storms that knocked out power to the house and two large trees. I called and put in a ticket and the management company had the trees removed and a few hours. While we were waiting the cleaning staff walked up the hill climed over two trees to check on us. I would highly recommend the property."

"Fiquei muito satisfeita com o atendimento simpático de todos, em especial Lynn, que me atendeu em diversas ocasiões. A localização é ótima, à poucos minutos do centro histórico e de um ótimo supermercado. A internet do hotel é excelente o que me permitiu trabalhar remota. O quarto era de ótimo tamanho, mas o único problema é que achei muito empoeirado e com cheiro de mofo, principalmente as gavetas. Os lençóis estavam bem amarrotados (achei que não haviam sido trocados desde o ultimo hospede) e os cobertores estavam manchados. As cortinas brancas estavam cinzas de sujeira. Apesar desse problema, gostei da minha estadia. "
