"The Woodlands was a beautiful stay. I loved the surrounding wild life and peacefulness about it. Staff were wonderful and went out of their way to support me, being I am disabled and require a stick to walk. The bed was extremely comfortable, clean & fresh. Nice hot showers. Breakfast was excellent and catered to my tastes. Overall I would recommend the Woodlands if your looking for a stay that offers peaceful space, nature and a very warm welcome. "If you need a place to stay in this area, this is a perfect spot. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, the room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend the dinner here as well. We even had horses in the fenced area right off our patio. We will definitely stay here the next time we visit the area!"

"The guest house is a lovely older building type, very comfortable and very close (6 minutes on foot) to the city center. The lovely Kevin and Vicky make us feel very welcome and well taken care of, making sure we are comfortable and have everything we need. Loved that the room had a mini fridge, a microwave and a kettle, as well as an assortment of teas and coffees for my use. "I was very disappointed with my stay. The hotel appears to be used by the council to house individuals with drug and alcohol issues, which created an uncomfortable and at times unsafe environment. There were visible burn marks on tables consistent with drug use, and noise levels were high at all hours of the day and night. Local businesses even confirmed this is an ongoing issue. Unfortunately, this made it impossible to relax or get proper rest, and I would not choose to stay here again."
