"This is a spacious home, with a beautiful front room that faces a pond. It's in a very relaxing location. Furniture is minimalist, could use an extra chair. On this trip, my sisters and I spent 3 days there and went to Barter theater to watch "Frozen." My nephew enjoyed the fishing. Great place, great show. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to relax."

Firstly, there was no indication before arriving that the place we would be staying at was currently in the process of being remodeled. "We loved the Bass Bungalow! This place is a gem. Clean, cozy and the views are awesome! Such a peaceful, quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed sitting on the porch soaking in the beautiful mountains and Lake Watauga. Our dog enjoyed swimming and had easy access to enter the lake. It was a perfect getaway for us. "

"The cabin was clean, right on the lake, maintenance had to come and check the hour water heater, couldn't have asked for speedy and friendlier service. We will go back"

"Great cabin, fantastic location!"

"Perfect place for my sister and I to stay while attending the MLB Speedway Classic at Bristol Motor Speedway. The owners are very attentive and responsive, and the cabin had everything we needed. I loved the pigs and goats!! Would absolutely recommend, and would stay here again in a heartbeat if I’m ever back in Bristol! "

"This is a great place to sit and watch time go by as the river levels change hourly because of the damn release schedule. Fairly quiet even when people are in the other cabins. 10 to 20 minutes to most places. "

"Great, short stay at Mike's place. Cabin was cozy and had great amenities. Host communication was prompt and efficient. Would highly recommend.Two downsides:#1 - we couldn't stay longer!#2 - dogs across the street are kind of noisy...but that's not on Mike, just the nature of dogs."

The check in process was a bit odd, the cottages are not clearly marked, they had to guess which cabin was theirs and try their code. Otherwise, this place was perfect.
