Cute Florida home

Cute Florida home. The house is cute and comfortable and private. Love the screened in porch. It's so much nicer to stay in a home than a stark hotel room. Thank you for the great stay.

Nice quiet place

Great quiet place. Close enough to drive to the beaches & shopping. The house was clean & had everything we needed. The yard and fence could use some tlc, but we still enjoyed using it and our dog loved being outside to soak up the florida sunshine. The hosts were wonderful, replied to all questions quickly and were helpful

Comfortable

We really enjoyed our stay. The host was very nice. We asked to extend our stay by one day and she worked with us so we could stay the extra night. Lots of room. Beautifully decorated!! Kitchen necessities available so we enjoyed eating there. We grilled several times. Quiet end of the road house.

Hudson house

The place is comfortable and we had no problems. Not being from the area we thought the neighborhood was a little sketchy, but like I said, we could be wrong since we aren’t familiar with the area. We had no concerns while staying there. The owners were very prompt in returning any questions, messages

Perfect for what we needed

Everything was clean and in order. I just wish we knew that the fence in the back was not a 6 foot fence as it shows in the picture. The fence had holes and was falling down in places so we could not leave the dogs in the yard safely. It was close to my Dad's and it worked for the long weekend.

The home was not clean, the dishes were dirty. We could only use half the house for the first month because the other half was not heated. The lock on the front door worked sometimes so we had to leave it unlocked when we went away. The washer drain plugged and it backed up into the house, then the washer quit. A repair person was sent. The beds were comfortable, but the rest of the furniture was very old and uncomfortable. In February, the air conditioning ran for 24 hours but was not cooling. We checked the filter and it had 2 inches of dirt on it. We replaced the filter and it was fine. On the back screened in porch, a dirty kitty litter box was left. Our water was shut off for 24 hours on March 23, 2026 because after THREE MONTHS the new owners did not put it in their name. We had to go buy water to get us through 24 hours. We were told the yard was totally fenced in, not true. Therefore, when the dogs had to go out, we had to go with them because they could escape. There is a large area with no fencing and much of the wood fence is rotten. The yard was very unkept. There were chunks of broken cement blocks just randomly piled around the yard and the wooden fencing was rotted at the bottom and every neighborhood cat came under the fence and used the yard for a litter box. On a positive note, we didn’t have to shovel snow for three months. I believe we deserve some compensation!
