3 BR 2 Bath Salt Air Retreat on Deep Water Canal Minutes to the Gulf

We use this house for friends and family so you will find it has all the amenities throughout. Three bedrooms to accommodate 6 people and a pull out sofa with powered air mattress for 2 more. Master with one King bed and en-suite bathroom. Two bedrooms with Queen beds share a full bath with tub and shower. The street is very quiet and has no through traffic. The canal out back has no through traffic either so the only boat traffic is from residents. I keep my boat on the lift so it is not available to tenants, but the floating dock is secure enough to tie up to if you don't mind your boat being in the water during your stay. There is power and water available on the dock. We do have 3 outdoor security cameras. One is focused on the boat & lift out back, one is covering the carport and one is located on the boat. You can see the listing pictures for an image of what areas are covered. The video storage device is on the property. Video is removed/deleted every 30 days. There are several restaurants and bars within a short bike ride or walking distance. Hudson Beach too is within walking distance. The main through roads in the neighborhood have sidewalks. Its a fantastic place to enjoy a quiet getaway.
I encourage you to look at the reviews from my guests and compare to reviews of other properties. The local sales tax on short term rentals is 12.00%. If you are looking at booking a property for less than 6 months I am required to charge you sales tax.
Homeaway/VRBO does charge a service charge to travelers who book online. Owners do not get any of this service charge or the Damage protection Insurance.
If your desired stay is for longer than 3 weeks please reach out for customized rates. There are some weekends that have higher rates and we may consider reducing them for the overlapping longer stays. If you are interested in dates more than 12 months in the future, please send a message with your desired dates. Also, please note the Ad may say an average price per night. This average comes from 7 night or longer stays. If your stay is less than 7 nights the rate is higher than the Average.

Hudson Heaven

This house is everything you need. Completely remodeled on the inside and it is beautiful. Brand new kitchen, brand new dock, new grill, everything!! You will not be disappointed staying here. If you are boating this is the place to be. Minutes to the Gulf for fishing, sandbars, etc. Deep water canal so in and out anytime. No boat, pleanty of things to do nearby. Host is amazing! Quit looking and go ahead and book this house. Trust me, I have looked at all houses in this area and this is the best. We are already booked for next year. Hope you enjoy as much as we do.

Amazing Vacation Location

Salt Air Retreat is a wonderful facility. It has been completely renovated - with Brand new appliances, furniture (except for a couple of family antiques), cabinetry, etc. It was IMMACULATELY clean and refreshing, my wife is very fuzzy about cleanliness. Everything was fully equipped. Everything was very comfortable and refreshing. Kees is an amazing host - who could not have been more accommodating and helpful. I recommend everything about the home. Being about to sit out along the waterway was beautiful and restful. Especially great if you are a boater. HEARTILY recommend this for your next vacation,Dick Emmons

Boaters Paradise

This is an amazing property. Boaters piece of heaven. 10 minutes you are in the Gulf. Host is amazing, there to help with anything we needed. Very clean and comfortable with everything you need. Can't wait to come back to this amazing property.

The property was clean and well stocked with beach items and the kitchen had everything we needed. The property was entirely accessible from front to back canel. Loved sitting on the canel side patio for meals!

Family scalloping weekend

We had a great stay for a long weekend. The home was lovely and just right for our family. It was cozy and nautically decorated which was charming. Beds are comfy which is sometimes hard to find. Kitchen is super stocked which was nice. We really enjoyed the water view from the tv room. The owner is super friendly, helpful and accommodating. We’ve stayed at a variety of places over the years and we would come back here again.

If you cook!

Everything about the salt air retreat was above par. We used the kayak numerous times to fish or just get out to a nearby bay. I do a lot of cooking and this is the first vrbo rental that actually had a very well equipped kitchen and a newer propane grill. The owner was very helpful when we left some medications in a dresser drawer, he promptly shipped them to us . If we come back to the Hudson area this is where we will be staying.My wife asked me to note that the beds were extra comfy! Thanks Kees

A Little Bit Of Heaven in Hudson

We have traveled and rented places in Hudson for years but this is, without a doubt, the nicest place we have ever stayed in. When you enter the house, you feel as though you are entering a home rather than a rental. The home is fully equipped with new or almost new appliances. The place is immaculate. In fact, they even have an I-Robot that comes out every morning and cleans the floors. There is also an automatic room deodorant that sprays throughout the day to freshen the air. The entire house is tastefully decorated in a casual nautical theme. It is located on a canal in a very quiet neighborhood. There is a table and seating for six on the outside patio with a gas grill. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful. We would readily rent this home again and recommend it to everyone. Unfortunately for us, it is already rented next year for our time spot.

Absolutely amazing

We stayed over New Years weekend. Absolutely beautiful home! We sat on the dock and watched fireworks. Homeowner was very quick to address any questions that we had. This home absolutely felt like home away from home. 10/10 recommend!

Our favorite vacation property!

I believe this was our 3rd time staying here and it was just as wonderful as prior visits. Owner is extremely communicative and accommodating. The home is beautiful, located in a quiet neighborhood, with many thoughtful touches inside for guests’ comfort. We will continue to stay here whenever we can!

Amazing home on the water!

We do a family vacation every year to go scalloping and this home was absolutely perfect for all of us! The decor is beautiful and welcoming. It was wonderful to sit out by the water in the backyard with our 2 boats docked up securely during our entire stay! The beds were so comfortable that we didn't want to leave! I would highly recommend this vacation home to anyone who wants a home away from home!

Hudson Retreat is a Treat

Nice clean, spacious home on a quiet canal. So nice to be able to dock our 16' skiff right behind the house- minutes to the Gulf for fishing, boat rides, and to a few restaurants. Also fished (and caught) off the dock, frequent visits by resident snowy egret, great blue herons and a wood stork. Owner and neighbors shared local fishing knowledge. House is well equipped. Bed was comfortable. Owner checked in to see if we needed anything. Convenient location for day trips to Tarpon Springs, Weeki Wachi, Homosassa or Tampa/St. Pete or you can park the car and use the bikes to get around the neighborhood. Beautiful sunsets, too! :-) :-) Spent 21 nights and wished we had some more time to spend there.

Beautiful place to stay

The house was spacious and the rooms were furnished neatly. The beds were very comfy. The kitchen was well equipped, however there is no room for a dishwasher. But now our kids learned how to carefully wash the dishes... We had a great time and we loved the large dining table and the cleanliness of the place. The owner is really friendly and responsive. The location is perfect for making day trips to Tarpon Springs, Weeki Wachee, Chrystal River and Tampa.
