There were 5 of us in the apartment, and we were missing a blanket set for the sofa bed. The host very kindly helped us out and left the missing set at our apartment. "This place is a wonderful home base for a visit to Avellanas. It's about 15 min walking from Avellanas beach (world class waves), 15 min driving from Playa Negra and about 30 min driving from Tamarindo. The space is really great: well equiped kitchen, big clean and nice bathroom and in both bedroons the beds are very comfortable. All the communication went very smoothly, and they were available all the time for any issue. I really recommend this place if you're thinking to explore around...

"We weren't prepared for how remote this property is and the extended rainy season made it even more so with very poor road conditions. Be sure to stock up on EVERYTHING you'll need before going up there as a trip to any store or restaurant will be lengthy. We had to leave after staying only one of our two nights as we just didn't have enough food. There is a restaurant on the property which would have been a complete game changer but it wasn't open during our visit in mid-November. The times...
