"Super cute and unique place to stay. The views from this place are worth it! I did have to open the windows at night as the air circulation upstairs in the loft is a bit hot but once all windows were open, we were fine. A great place to stay for the night with amazing views! "

It was amazing listening to the birds at 12:30am while soaking in the hot spring fed outdoor spa watching the colorful midnight sunset, priceless! "Awesome house, with 1 big Room with king size bed and 2 smaller ones. Big kitchen with all the facilities and a huge and comfy living room in the cave. It was given all instructions days before our arrival with all the details. We consideres the better house during our trip to Iceland. The less positive point was the hot tub, because it took 7/8h to full fill instead of 2 hours as it said in the instructions."

"Wir haben uns in dem kleinen Häuschen sehr wohl gefühlt. Insbesondere die fantastische Lage direkt über dem Fjord mit Walsichtung vom Sofa aus war klasse. Das Häuschen ist zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Angenehm die Spülmaschine, Tabs waren vorhanden. Ungewöhnlich das Elternbett auf einem Gestell aus Karton - aber ich habe sehr gut geschlafen! Wer ausreiten möchte: In wenigen Kilometern Entfernung bietet Polar Hestar 1-3 stündige Ausritte an. Wir waren auf der dreistündigen Tour mit toller Aussicht...

"Direkt bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir von Buckelwalen begrüßt, die im Fjord vor dem Haus schwammen. Aus dem riesigen Fenster und dem Hot Tub konnten wir diese auch die übrigen Tage immer wieder beobachten. Traumhaft!"

"It’s a beautiful house in a new neighborhood. The location was beautiful, right on the fjord, only 10 minutes from downtown Akureyri. We cooked one night, pretty well stocked kitchen, could use a few potholders. We couldn’t figure out the cold plunge, but the hot tub and sauna were great. Views from the hot tub are amazing. Our only complaint was there were a lot of flies, no screens on windows, and it’s prime fly season apparently. No kidding, we killed more than 100 in 2 days. A fly...

"We booked a few nights at the Hidden Cottage and simply loved the place! The cottage is located not far from a village, in a pretty countryside area. The house had everything you needed and the cottage was very clean. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds are comfortable. My 13 year old son particularly appreciated the soccer field we had access to!  I recommend this place during your stay in Iceland!"

"We arrived in the evening, driving through clouds unable to see anything. We awoke to find we were surrounded 360 degrees by gorgeous mountains! We were awed!It was a bit of a drive on a dirt road but well worth it. The house was great. As described. The hot tub was an added treat.
