"I really want to give 5 stars for this place- but unfortunately…,,,,The location and the house is stunning! But the let downs was the cleanliness. The spa was disgusting and had broken glass by the gate. Nearly every piece of cutlery, tray, plate and cup was dirty. No hand soap or dishwashing liquid. The first night no hot water. The fire pit is on a side of a hill- no chance for confit- and the house is 12 people- 3 double rooms 1 room with 4 bunks and a downstairs with 2 sofa beds. But no one...

It had been touch and go as to whether the recent bushfires would put a stop to our stay. The communication with the Book High Country team, was exceptional. Loved the fact that we could assist with pumping our tourist into the local traders community.Thoroughly enjoyed our annual family get together, with family members...

"This is a great house for a large group of people, however there is not much off street parking with room for one large car only. The house is very well maintained and well equipped. Communication with the hosts was excellent and the check in process was easy . A couple of things to note: A handrail on the stairs to the upstairs area is needed. The yard is not fenced. "
