THE LOCATION
Outstanding, move-in ready home in Harding Heights! Located in the heart of Houston. Five minutes from Downtown, seven minutes from the Galleria, fifteen minutes from the Energy Corridor. Soaring ceilings, Travertine and hardwood floors, sweeping staircase, graceful columns, art niches, stunning trim work, crown molding and built-ins throughout.

THE SPACE INTERIOR
Open concept island kitchen with granite counters, SS appliances, double ovens, and breakfast bar opens to sunny breakfast room and spacious den with corner fireplace and wall of windows; formal dining with chair rail; wine grotto/wet bar with beautifully wrought iron doors; all 4 bedrooms and game room up; master retreat has cozy fireplace, private balcony, palatial closet, and luxurious bath. It has fenced yard with covered patio too!
You have access to the whole house except for the garage.

NOTES
- If this is a party/event/small gathering, please contact me before booking.
- Parking can be very limited. The neighbors will call police if their driveways are blocked.
- No loud music.
- Everything must be contained to the inside of the house.
- If you break any of the house rules we will keep your deposit so please be honest about what you are renting the house for.

Online appearance was impressive. Actual experience was lacking in places. Nicely spacious house, but when we opened drawers and cabinets little 6-legged creatures would sometimes scurry about. Definitely needs a pesticide treatment. At least they were not big 6-legged creatures. We struggled to use the oven due to its control panel having been melted by a previous guest that mustā€™ve been broiling or cooking extremely hot with the door cracked open, because it had burnt up the control cover, it needs to be replaced. Worst of all though was the king-sized bed in the master bedroom. In addition to terrible pillows, the box springs under the top mattress was very noisy when getting on the bed or when trying to reposition my sleeping position. Finally, the host was 2-hours late in responding to us, after weā€™d arrived at the house to check-in, so that we had to either sit in a rental car and wait or go find something else to do on a Sunday evening. Oh, one more thing the tv channel selection was awful. They need to seriously upgrade their tv package. Would I stay here again? Not likely, Iā€™d explore to see if I couldnā€™t find a better maintained property. I wish I couldā€™ve posted a glowing review, but I couldnā€™t lie to other potential guests. If these items were corrected, then I could give the glowing review Iā€™d hoped to submit.

Awesome stay

First thing that comes out is the house is located in a very nice neighborhood and I didnā€™t have many issues with the property other than the tv not working properly and the occasional trouble with toilet not flushing properly and the shower in the master bedroom leaks out on the floor if you let the shower water run on the glass door. I donā€™t think itā€™s anything major it just needs to be fixed. I donā€™t want anyone to think that the house was bad or anything like that but those little things like the leak under the sink in the kitchen can make it seem worse than it was. I loved the house and how beautiful it looks and Mr.John was a awesome host and my family really enjoyed the house and appreciate him letting us use his property and I will definitely recommend and rent from him again thank you very much for sending help when we called and we appreciate your help. The property is a very beautiful place in a quiet neighborhood where you can walk around and be safe and it is walking distance to shopping and eating places. Next time Iā€™m in town I will definitely be looking forward to staying there again. Great place to stay.

Very Nice House in Great Location!

Booked this beautiful home and found that the listing was very accurate. Great location to visit any area of the city. Restaurants, bars, grocery and shopping stores within walking distance. Host was great and responds quickly to any requests. Will definitely book again!

The property was great, but with a few cosmetic issues. Property manager was great up until towards the end of my stay when he didnā€™t answer, nor return my call. Major issue was the ceiling leaked all week that looks like from upstairs, but I couldnā€™t tell the property manager, because thatā€™s when he didnā€™t answer nor return my call. The beds in the secondary rooms were smaller than advertised. Many light bulbs need to be replaced throughout home. TVā€™s in only two rooms of the four, and the one in the master bedroom is much too small, and a very bad picture. I was there for a conference, and had plenty of evening time to watch tv, so that wasnā€™t good. Very few channels on the tv, so I was thankful to have had my fire stick. It was however stocked very well with toiletries.

Home Away from Homeā€¦And Then Some

If this is one of your Top 3 selections to decide of staying while youā€™re in Houston, Make this your #1. The neighborhood alone is quaint. Surrounded by everything. Parks. Restaurants. Stores. Minutes from downtown. And surrounding areas. And the home itself. A resort away from home. Enough space to beyond comfortably fit a family of 7. Beautifully designed home w/ high ceilings, large bedrooms and bathrooms and sitting areas. This review could easily turn into an ad to sell the home. Kitchen had what you required. And we love cooking and it provided the space and ambiance. I could go on (especially about the primary showerā€¦Amazing) After a long day with family or friends, it was such a comfort to return to a home so comfortable. And the host was so responsive and kind. This will be our Houston, home away from home.

This property was just as described, what a wonderful place! The property manager was very responsive and accommodating! Good location, good value but..,

The only problem was a ceiling leak from the upstairs master shower to the kitchen table below. This happened to be where I set up my work space. No damage was done to my equipment but itā€™s not something I anticipated in a rental.

The good; it was quiet, location was good, pictures were accurate. The bad; a bit worn and furnishings could have been better but that being said, the photos did reflect this. The place generally shows itā€™s wear. It served its purpose for a quick trip into Houston however.

Great for daughters wedding weekend

We stayed at this property in September 2021 and it was perfectly located near my daughters wedding venue. The home looked exactly like the pics and was spacious and very nice. Parking is a bit tight on the streets, but overall not an issue. The owner was very responsive and communicated immediately each time I reached out to him.

JUST RIGHT

We were looking for a rental home large enough for six adults and close to a family member that lives in Houston. This house was perfect. The check in process was super easy. Johnny answered all questions in a timely manner. The house was very clean. This home was very posh at one time. The furnishings have suffered a bit which is customary with a rental property. But that did not bother us one bit. The beds were comfortable. There was plenty of hot water for all to shower. The WiFi was excellent. We would not hesitate to stay there again.

The neighborhood is great, close to so much but still quiet. The host was very responsive and made the process very easy. The house was spacious and met our needs, but does have definite rental house vibes. Overall, great to use as a home base for a visit to a cool part of Houston.

Disappointing!

The house is in a great location but it wasnā€™t a comfortable stay at all. For starters, the master bedroom bed is broken as well as the room that has the sauna in it which the owner came to ā€œfix.ā€ ONE bedroom has a TV. No channels. The rug in the master bathroom is FILTHY. The buttons on the oven are missing so itā€™s almost to impossible to use, the grill & fridge were dirty as well & the ice machine doesnā€™t work. To top it off there were roaches inside the property & we were told itā€™s NORMAL for Texas. It was honestly a disappointing stay.
