"This property was amazing! So comfy and it felt like home. I love that is pet friendly and has a kitchen and laundry. We will be back!"

"Overall 10/10 experience. Will definitely stay here again!"

"Great place for a great time! Very clean and everything was accurate in the description. Perfect location for exploring the entire area of the Keweenaw. Thank you to our hosts for putting the time and effort in to making this such a wonderful place."

"Nice location! Very QUIET!!! Nice to be able to have our 2 dogs with us! Hosts are very responsive!! Kayaks were handy! Clean home! We enjoyed watching the sea planes take off and land!"

"This is our second time staying here while our son went to summer camp at MTU. Clean, easy, and has all the things you need plus those little extras to make your stay even more comfortable."

"The property was fantastic—spotlessly clean, easy to access, and clearly a newer build. The appliances and amenities all felt fresh and well‑maintained. The neighborhood was quiet, and the home itself offered a nice sense of seclusion. It was only a short drive to Houghton, which made it especially convenient. If we return to the area, we would absolutely stay here again."

"Perfect house to stay while visiting family. Only issue was dryer not working."

"Very cute little place to stay at. Didn’t have extra toilet paper. No big deal we just went across the street to the gas station to get some."

"Perfect home for our large family who wanted to explore the Keweenaw Peninsula. We had a great time rock hunting and adventuring. David, our host was very quick to address one minor issue we had. We had a great time."

"This place is a great launching-pad for many adventures on the Keweenaw Peninsula! Our family enjoyed the views overlooking Lake Superior, playing cornhole and pool (billiards in the garage), and sweating in the sauna."

"Great place for a large group or family"

"Amazing property, especially the outdoor space."

"The house was very comfortable overall, and the main bed in particular was excellent. The kitchen was well stocked with enough essentials for us to prepare our meals without any issues. The only area that did not meet the same standard as the rest of the home was the bathroom. The shower had not been thoroughly cleaned, with noticeable soap scum on and underneath the provided shampoo and conditioner bottles. The oven could also use a deep cleaning. We manage a resort in Wisconsin, so we’re very...

"We enjoyed our stay on Portage Canal. Quite a beautiful view. The house worked great for our visit!"

"The location was great away from the busy Houghton/Hancock commencement weekend with restaurants and beverage facilities just a walk down the block.Bedrooms were spacious and clean. The very modern kitchen was had all that we needed for dinner prep. The dining and living rooms were spacious for our group of 7 to spread out and relax. Sauna was great too.It was nice to choose from a list of breakfast options which all were delicious, and choosing when it was served worked out great for...

"We went up of our daughter's wedding. There are 3 floors so there are plenty of rooms. Great dinning room for shared meals. They have toys and coloring activities for kids. A fire ring to make plenty of s'mores. The sauna was a great way to relax at the end of a long day. I highly recommend this space for families or a gathering of friends."

"This property is beautiful. The lake is very nice, having kayaks for use was a huge plus. The two houses made it nice to spread out for some quiet. Very clean and well stocked. Amazing views. Our only critique would be that 2 of the listed bedrooms are not really bedrooms. But we made due with a smaller group than we originally planned so no complaints from us."
