"We had an amazing stay. Bob and Liz were lovely and friendly hosts, provided a really nice breakfast and a nice, tasteful welcome package in the fridge. The authentic cottage was a lovely and peaceful place to stay, well renovated and well accomodated. As is the case in most cottages, some of the beams and ceilings are quite low, so watch your head. "My husband and I enjoyed a week in Mill Barn in early June. Unfortunately the weather didn't want to play along so we couldn't enjoy the beautiful garden as much as I had hoped, but that was no loss - the cottage is adorable inside too and it's perfect for cozy cocooning when it's rainy. We enjoyed the smart TV, bath and wonderful shower, as well as the well equipped kitchen. There are plenty of fun day trips in the area and Penny was incredibly kind and helpful during our stay. "If you love a peaceful country retreat then this is for you. Wildlife all around. The owner could not be more helpful. Peacocks at the back door herds of dear and flocks of amazing rheas much better than advertised. You do need a car with good clearance for the track through the forest but it's worth it as it all ads to the amazing adventure. Thank you once again to our host Martin who meets guests at the gate to lead you through the forest."

"The townhouse was clean with three separate bedrooms and two baths. It was very near to high Street so it was an excellent location. One drawback was that it was very hot outside and only two fans were available for the bedrooms. Make sure that you have access to Wi-Fi to retrieve the check-in information ahead of time. The host was very prompt in answering any inquiries that we may have had."
