There are many conveniences to staying in the heart of the village such as the stores and restaurants being in close proximity. Unfortunately, one of the cons in that on occasion, there is noise pollution from the neighbor. But we are glad that the ear plugs were effective in that regard.

We are sorry that your experience was not a pleasant one. However, the minimum rate covers 2 persons and for any additional person there is an additional fee. This information is stated both on the website as well as the booking sites. So, when you showed up with more people that you booked for, we addressed this. Because not only does it go against policy, but these undeclared persons are not covered by the liability insurance of the accommodation. Secondly, in the 'amenities' section of the booking site you can see that this property has no air conditioning. As it relates to the heat, well, this is the Caribbean. Third, the property is fenced, and we have no control over what happens on the public beach in front of the house. The beach is for everyone to enjoy. If someone had trespassed beyond that point, you could have contacted the host about this. Lastly, as much as we clean and exterminate, once every few years a critter slips past us. Additionally, since this is a vacation rental and not a resort, there is not staff around to remind guests to keep doors closed at all times even if they are on the property. Nevertheless, the critter was captured in a live-trap and you also were compensated for this inconvenience.
