Upon arrival there was some confusion on the amount owed for the extra day because we used a 3rd party to book the other nights. "Desk folk were pleasant and helpful; our room was very clean! Complimentary breakfast pastries were fabulous! Two repair suggestions: bathtub drain needs tweaking; water went down before I could have a bath. Also, water leaks around sink faucets. Husband and I are glad we stayed- but it would have been respectful to tell us ahead of time that construction noise would be waking us at 8:00 am. Sincerely, Kathleen Donovan"

"This place is a gem– – a beautifully preserved building that dates back to the colonial era which nonetheless provides all modern conveniences. It’s only a stone’s throw from the center of town on a lovely leafy street. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. We’re looking forward to our next visit. If you require an elevator, be warned – – this hotel does not have one. We did not mind bringing our bags up to our third-floor room, but that might be a problem for others."

"Would not recommend this hotel. Entire hotel smelled like cigarette smoke. Room was sparse and dingy. No shampoo or body wash in shower. No hairdryer. No utensils in kitchen to cook with of any kind. Overall not a good experience. Glad we only booked for one night."

"Room 141 has a broken microwave, the person in the office checked it and said he would check the storage room and exchange it, he never came back. The room had an odor, the plugs to charge our phones didn't work, we had to flip the switch several times to get the light on, water pressure wasn't strong and mattresses were not comfortable."

"This is by far the best place to stay around New Hope. The staff was amazing, super friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and everything felt very relaxing. The breakfast was incredible — honestly as good as a 5-star hotel.
