"Was very comfortable. Nice area. Would recommend for someone that wants to relax. Only drawback is owner lives upstairs, so you do hear walking around and a little noise from upstairs. But overall it is worth it for a nice stay."

"Dorothy’s place is very sweet and comfortable and exactly as advertised. It was a good home away from and we could easily get to all the lovely and interesting things in the area. I enjoyed sitting in the back yard as well as in the lovely apartment. I recommend it."

"This fabulous house, a block from downtown Mystic, worked well for our family group of six adults! The house is charming, with lovely art (at least one signed by the owner, if I’m not mistaken), great landscaping, and fresh cut flowers, books, and games. The kitchen was great for cooking a few meals, and we also grilled in the backyard. Also nice to walk to many restaurants. Comfy beds, nice linens, plenty of towels. Also loved the porch! The owners responded quickly when we had questions....

"What an incredible property. We were there with our extended family celebrating my son's graduation weekend and we couldn't have had a more perfect home. The home had everything you would need for the perfect stay. The porches (note: plural) are perfect and the views are so relaxing. The house is so well designed and laid out to accommodate everyone. "Great home - beds are super comfortable. House was clean and comfortable. Kitchen and bathrooms fully stocked. The only issue were 1) location - not close to beach and parking was impossible 2) construction on property took away the advertised screened in porch which could have been a children’s bedroom 3) carpeted kitchen??? When they do finish the house - it will be beautiful"

"We were in the area for a visit to local college, and we splurged on an overnight. So glad we did! Spotlessly clean, beautifully restored historical property right in the heart of a neighborhood and in walking distance to downtown. Comfortable beds, art supplies, games, and a well-appointed kitchen. Our daughter didn’t choose the college, but we will be back just to stay here again! Thank you for a truly special property."

"Great spot plenty of space in the house for everyone. Nice kitchen and livingroom obviously the salt water pool was great. We spent out nights near the fire pit and gazed at the stars. They really shine bright with no light pollution around here. Recommend having your monitoring coffee near the river access for a relaxing start to your day."
