"We had the hayloft that could sleep 3 but was a win for us as a couple. It was in a out building, with easy access to the garden, bar and dining areas, but was a bit difficult to get suitcases over the gravel pathway. Very quiet, lots of space and windows to open. The restaurant meal and breakfast was fabulous."
"Lovely, quaint cottage and very dog friendly. Host was welcoming and everyrhi g provided, lovely options for breakfast and really enjoyed the tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Great value for money. "
"We have stayed at The Feathers a few times in the lead up to our wedding, but this was our first time staying in the cottage with our dog. It was a fantastic stay as usual, and we loved the cottage, it was exceptionally clean and we can’t wait to stay again! "
"Stayed overnight whilst spending a few days fishing on the local river. A warm welcome on arrival and a nice little clean room with everything I needed (comfy bed, warm shower, tv etc). Breakfast was freshly cooked and very good value at £9.85. Beer was also very good and a great selection. Staff were really friendly and happy to have a natter. Look forward to returning next year!"
"A comfortable and enjoyable stay. Room was clean comfortably and so cosy! We were made to feel so welcomed and they kindly accommodated a veggie breakfast for us. The breakfast was lovely with fresh foods and lots of local produce to choose from. We even got a tour of the place! Would highly recommend a stay here. "

The thoughtful, detailed, quality touches throughout - from the fabrics, furniture and pillows in the room, to the delicious home made breakfast compotes and locally sourced fresh produce, Kiel and Stuart have created a gem here. Not to mention the beauty and character of the stone farmhouse itself, which has been sympathetically renovated throughout. What a treat. "Great place to stay, especially with the dog. Fabulous walking right from the pod door. The pods are great, all clean, the double bed is definitely cosy but their description of the pod on the website is accurate, it is basic but they never profess to be anything else. Barbecue in front of each pod is great, we cooked supper and breakfast on it, for all you carnivores, the butcher in Fownhope is fabulous. If you just need a base to chill out in, this is absolutely perfect."
"Had a fantastic few days here. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Whenever we asked they always provided an answer to our requests promptly and happily.
Charlotte was incredibly informative and passionate in answering our local questions of which her knowledge was invaluable to us.
Lovely room we had, being hyper critical it is an old building so the bathroom layout meant you couldn't really have a shower, so bathing it was instead.
