"The property was ideal for a base to visit the surrounding area. Our bedroom and the property generally was clean and tidy. The owner and staff were very nice and helpful. Breakfast was fine but the 'help yourself' fruit in the dining area was not fresh. Parking could be an issue near the hotel but our disability parking permit helped."

"We had room 6, bejou and spotless. Just 3 little gripes in the bathroom. 1) There is no blind on the window. 2) Mirror over basin is stomach height, husband had to bend double to shave. 3) No shelf for toiletries. Otherwise the hotel is great. The food is FABULOUS. Biggest lamb shank i'd ever had. Breakfast bacon is a must and perfect fried eggs. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. Would definitely stay here again"

"The room was clean, warm and comfortable. The staff were helpful. Parking was in front of the hotel, off the main street. The village had a few shops and a large town nearby. The hotel has a river at the bottom of the grounds which was lovely to sit near."

"Unfortunately, we had a terrible night's stay here the room was so hot, it was like a sauna. We called down, told nothing could be done. After raising this point the next day, and promised call backs for over a month now, still nothing is done or taken seriously. It is unfortunate as the service at dinner before check in was fab, as were the staff we encountered.
