"Enjoyed our stay at Shelton Inn immensely. So nice that a motel in the "old" style can be updated to fit the needs of today. Shelton Inn provides for the basics of an overnight stay (or two or three) in simple elegance. Our room was clean, quiet and spacious. The town/city of Shelton is nicely located to provide access to all that the peninsula has to offer. I would recommend the Shelton Inn to anyone and if in the area again it would be a very short search for a great place to stay. "

"My wife and I got away for a long weekend after being kid-free. We brought kayaks and wanted to explore the area. We enjoyed the location very much, with easy access to Hoodsport and Hama Hama. The access to the water wasn't as easy as we hoped, but the fact that there's a little county park in front of the house did work out for us. The neighbors seem very protective of the beach though, so that's weird. Luckily the smoke from the Bear Gulch fire didn't come down low enough to bother us either,...
