WONDERFUL Downtown Condo with everything in the heart of Hood River

Hood River condo, located downtown on 7th and Oak St.(main street). Beautiful views of the Columbia River Gorge. Great location for shopping, restaurants, cafes, galleries, and the Columbia River Beach. Catch a movie at the Hood River Cinema or visit the Saturday within a block of the condo. This is a wonderful location to enjoy the heart of Hood River and all the beauty that the Columbia Gorge has to offer. Relax on the balcony in comfort and take in the sights and sounds of The Gorge. The condo is a three story building, with the main floor of the condo located on the second floor and the bedrooms are located on the third floor. Thoughtfully decorated with all new furnishings, linens, appliances etc. Amenities include washer/dryer, Wi-Fi, Direct TV, DVD, CD player, central AC & heat, ceiling fans and Electric BBQ grill. The master bedroom has a King bed, private bath with shower, walk in closet, couch, views of the Columbia River and TV. The second bedroom has a Queen bed and views of downtown. There is a fully equipped laundry room, and hall bath with a shower/bathtub combo. The parking is free on the street, in front of the condo. There is no designated parking space for the condo. Overall it was very nice.Initially it was a little tricky figuring out the key lockbox, but once that was solved, no further problems. The website should be updated. It references that the unit is just above a coffee shop. The coffee shop apparently closed a few years back and there is no mention of it on the store front. The patio was great with a great view. The beds were very comfortable. A nice kitchen. The location was great- near all of the shops and restaurants, etc.

Nice location

Overall a good location and space for our needs while attending a wedding. Front steps/exterior needed a good power wash and garbage pick up. The deck -best asset of the condo has a nice view of the river, but the deck and furniture really need a power wash.

Perfect spot for the amazing town

We came in for the marathon and luckily this place was still available. Welcoming for all and it was a smooth process ideal location with great views. Clean and as it was described would visit again

Great stay in-town HR

Having stayed in and around Hood River in different types of rentals over the years, we truly enjoyed being right in-town HR just a stone's throw to restaurants and shops and a super quick walk or drive to the event site / river. The condo is great... well-stocked (particularly the kitchen) and spacious. We loved the outdoor balcony and view of the river (the event site is visible). A couple of things to note: There are stairs to enter and no designated parking spots for the condo (parking on the street which I think is disclosed in the listing). Also, if you're hoping to stream movies etc, bring your own laptop as the TVs in the condo are from circa 1997. Given the price of the rental and the low cost of tvs these days, we would expect decent TVs and hopefully they update them by the time you rent. Net-net, we'd definitely rent again. Thanks!

Great Little Spot

The apartment was very convenient to down town and everything that we needed it to be. We spent a couple of days wandering around the various breweries and enjoying the heirloom tomato pizza at Double Mountain.

Location, Location

Stayed here for the 2024 Cider Fest. Ideal location for walking to shops, coffee, food, and pubs downtown. A little far to walk to the Cider Fest down on the river but that was due to the weather more than anything. House was everything we needed. Thanks!

Loved this place

My husband and I stayed here for a wedding weekend. The place was extremely clean and literally had everything for a spectacular stay. I have never been to a place that catered to visitors as much as this place. The balcony was an amazing spot to sit and be with family. And to top it off the location could not be better!

The check in was easy and the location was great. It was very close to downtown. The condo was comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. The condo was generally clean but some of the kitchen appliances appeared not to have been thoroughly cleaned in a while and we thought the carpets and the bathroom rugs in the condo needed to be cleaned.

2 bedroom condo located in a building with two units. Steps from restaurants and next door to evoke winery. View of the river from the dining room and porch. Nice king sized bed and queen, bathrooms are on the second level by the bedrooms.

Great location

Amazing location within walking distance of restaurants, shops, breweries, and waterfront. The unit was very well stocked with coffee, tea, spices, etc. as well as recommendations for activities. The view from the balcony is better than pictured. FYI, there are two flights of stairs to access the unit.

Hood River Condo

This condo was in the perfect location near downtown Hood River. You were walkable to some of the best food and wine venues and not too far from the waterfront which you could walk, bike or a quick drive. The condo was super cute, loved all the northeast facing windows with lovely view of the river from both the balcony and master suite. The host was amazing, very responsive and friendly. I definitely would stay here again or recommend the condo to friends and family who are looking to stay in Hood River. Also, the accessibility to Highway 35 and crossing over to White Salmon, WA was great!

Good central location

Perfect location in Hood River for walking to restaurants and shops. Beds were comfortable and it was nice to have two bathrooms. The kitchen was well fitted out. All in all a really good place to stay in Hood River.

Great location & views!

Hood River has no Ubers and few taxis, so finding this 2 bedroom stay right on the main street was a great find. The views out the window are amazing and the apartment is very well kept. Just a short down-hill walk to everything you need. Would definitely book again!

Nice location & views

Condo was nice, but needs attention. -One of the towel bars in the 2nd bath was missing & holes were in the wall where it should have been. - Carpet going upstairs to bedrooms was vacuumed but VERY dirty. - Many used & 1/2 filled bottles of liquids in master bath drawer as well as used shampoo, conditioner & body wash left in master shower. - outside grill was unusable & filthy - Porch furniture covers were torn & threadbare - Kitchen was well stocked but many spices & oils left in the cabinet were very old & some had expired - Thick cobwebs covered bottom of windows on porch behind couch - Directions to condo were incorrect. States stairs to condo were to left of a coffee shop which no longer exists - it is now a confectionary. - There is a filled spray bottle tied to the Master bedroom curtain cord. Have no idea why.
