The building's recreation deck, including the pool and BBQ, will be closed for renovation starting April 7, 2025, with work expected to continue for approximately one year. Rates have already been discounted accordingly to reflect the temporary loss of these amenities. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding as the building undergoes these improvements.***

As of June 2025, the building's long-awaited elevator project is complete! The old elevators have been fully replaced with brand-new, state-of-the-art models, offering faster, smoother, and more reliable service.

• There is a coffee shop on the ground floor next to the elevators in Tower 1
• There is a convenience store on the ground floor next to the elevators in Tower 1
• There is a coin machine on the ground floor next to the security office in Tower 2

HOW TO GET HERE:
From Honolulu Airport, it is just a 20-minute drive from your destination. Rent a car to explore or grab a taxi for around $45, depending on traffic. Look for signs on the way to the taxi area upon arrival. Enjoy your trip!

CHECK-IN/ CHECKOUT:
Check-in: any time after 3:00 PM
Check out: any time before or at 10:00 AM

Regarding early check-ins or late checkouts, we're unable to confirm those requests at the moment. If you'd like to ensure you can either check in early or check out late, we'd suggest booking an extra night. In such cases, please reach out to Midway Vacations, and we'll do our best to accommodate your request.

STARTER SUPPLIES:
We provide a welcome starter supply kit stocked with - one pack of coffee grounds, coffee filters, toilet paper, paper towel, tissue, can liners, salt & pepper, spray oil, laundry detergent, dish soap, sponge, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion, and bar soap. Please note that this is only a starter supply to make sure you have everything you need upon arrival.

BEACH ESSENTIALS:
We've got beach towels, chairs, and an umbrella ready for you in the unit so you can enjoy some fun in the sun. If you'd like a beach mat or snorkeling gear, just let us know—we're happy to provide them upon request!

HOUSEKEEPING:
Our professional housekeeping team has strict procedures and checklists to guarantee constant quality across all our properties. All linens and towels are professionally cleaned with scent-free detergent and high-temperature washing (180F). Our trained inspectors also check everything before each arrival.

The cleaning fee includes all of the services listed above and restocking for amenities after each departure. There will be an extra charge if excessive cleaning is necessary. Thank you for your understanding.

LINENS & TOWELS:
You will receive one set of towels (bath towel, hand towel, washcloth, beach towel) per guest. Beds are equipped with a fitted sheet, two flat sheets, and a blanket. Linens for the sleeper sofa are on the sofa mattress, and pillows and blankets are in the closet.

LAUNDRY ROOMS:
There are laundry rooms on each floor with coin and credit-card-operated washers and dryers. A single pack of laundry detergent is provided in your starter supply kit. There is a coin change machine next to the lobby in Tower 2. Laundry room hours are from 8 am-10 pm daily.

TRASH ROOM:
Trash rooms are located at the end of each floor, next to the emergency exit.

3O NIGHTS OR MORE STAY:
Experience even greater savings! Reach out to us when planning a stay of 30 nights or more and enjoy a 10% discount on your total room fee.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Travelers who cancel at least 14 days before check-in will get back 100% of the amount they've paid. If they cancel between 7 and 14 days before check-in, they'll get back 50%. Otherwise, they won't get a refund.
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that reimburses for prepaid, non-refundable expenses that may arise due to unforeseen circumstances that could jeopardize your vacation investment and would otherwise incur unplanned expenses as well. The condo is very accurately described and the photos are a good representation of the unit. The proximity to Waikiki beach is excellent. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is the street noise and handful of homeless people both of which could be heard at night. I expected a little less noise being on 29th floor. The building itself needs some additional sprucing up before I would give it a 5 star rating however the condo has been recently updated and you can forget about the exterior while using the unit. The couch in the living room is a little stiff and uncomfortable, but we weren’t in the room much so it didn’t bother us. The kitchen is very usable for one person cooking and everything we needed to prepare nice breakfasts was available and worked well. The shower/toilet room is a little tight but again everything worked as expected. The bathroom was well done and bright enough to be very useful. The views from the many windows was nice. We could see Diamond Head and the beach. So lovely to see the sunrise and surfers already in the water every morning.As with every rental there are small things that come up but the management team addressed them quickly and efficiently. We would stay here again especially once the 6th floor renovation is complete and the amenities are available.

We were there to watch a tournament for our daughter and wanted to be close to where she would be competing. We probably wouldn’t have chosen this location if only there for vacation, but it was beautiful and a perfect location for traveling to all parts of the island

Staying with midway vacations was such an easy and wonderful experience. The condo had so many things a small family can use during a vacation stay. The only thing I wish they would have is a few sand toys for kids and a beach umbrella. But we so appreciated the beach chairs and small cooler that was available for us to use. Views from the condo were beautiful . The kitchen was stocked with basic things like salt, pepper , oil and coffee filters. Pots/pans/utensils were all in good condition as well. The place was very clean and parking was never an issue even if we came back late at night. We will definitely consider staying here again

The property was in the heart of Waikiki beach and close to the university. The on-site parking included with the booking was a must and a deciding factor when we booked. The views were also great.

We really enjoyed our stay at Waikiki Banyan. The unit had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable. It even came with beach chairs and beach towels. Not all units provide that. We especially loved the location and the view. The unit had views of the ocean and Diamond Head. Beautiful. We sat on the balcony everyday for our meals. It was just 2 blocks from the beach. Easy walking distance to everything. A huge plus is the included parking. We drove every day to a new beach or to sightsee. It was nice to not worry about where to park or paying for parking. We would definitely stay here again. Aloha

Overall, we had a good stay. The pro´s are that the location is really convenient in terms of restaurants, shopping, and the beach of course. Many attractions are close and it is great to have a parking spot included. The communication as well as check-in instructions were helpful, and we really appreciated the snacks and the water upon our arrival. The cons are not the host´s fault but I wanted to mention them as it might be helpful for other guests: The tower is in a quite noisy location and as the windows aren´t insulated at all, the noise level is high throughout day and night. Like some other guests before, we had an evacuation alarm immediately after our arrival and had to run down from the 29th floor. When arriving on ground level, there was no explanation why this happened or if there is a real emergency. This and the noise led to the fact that our stay was not as relaxing as we had hoped. Also, the furniture and kitchen is a bit outdated but had everything we need.

Pros: Easy parking, extremely clean, excellent communication with property management company, very helpful with obtaining a pack and play, beautiful views, reasonably priced, friendly staff. Cons: Property (building and decor) is dated and we did not find the bed or living room furniture to be the most comfortable. 2 of the 4 building elevators were down while we were there. Sometimes took >20 minutes to catch an elevator ride that wasn't full. Building evacuation for unknown emergency started almost immediately after arrival. We had a 30 pound 1 year old with us, and weren't too excited about carrying him down 29 flights of stairs. No info on how to evacuate if you are wheelchair or stroller bound with the elevators being closed.

We had a wonderful stay here during our four nights in the Honolulu area! The unit has amazing views from all rooms and is a short walking distance to beautiful Waikiki Beach, restaurants, and shopping. A key consideration is that parking is free in a secure garage during your stay. This unit was the perfect hub for our Honolulu adventures.

We just returned from our stay last week. The location of the property is very convenient. The view from the condo is wonderful. Check-in and check-out was very easy with detailed instructions provided. We rented a car for our stay, and had free parking which was nice. Convenient to walk to dinner and attractions in the Waikiki Beach area. Condo had everything we needed for our stay. Would recommend and would stay here again in a future stay.

We enjoyed everythingexcept the chaotic parking lot and evacuation order On Monday 9/26 a loud evacation order was broadcast repeatedly over loudspeakers on our 29th floor. We were told to immediately exit via the srairways. We are both in our 80's. We followed those orders and when we got to the ground floor I expected to emergency vehicles in the area. Nothing! There were quite a few people in front of the hotel. No one knew why the evacuation order was given. The lady at the front desk didn't know about the order. The people in the security office shrugged their shoulders when I asked them. My wife was exhausted after going down 29 flights of stairs. I asked the staff if I could borrow a wheelchair to get her back to the room. They asked if I wanted them to call 911.
