The pool was great. Location was great. Short walk to a beach, coffee shops, and some shopping. Check in was pretty smooth. Watching the ocean from the balcony was beautiful.

Exactly as pictured

Property is great and location couldn’t be much better being next to food trucks, grocery stores and restaurants. Property is great and beach area is perfect with swimmable waters and the occasional sea turtle that swing by as you’re playing (happened to us twice!). Would highly recommend.

Fun Time

Good location, beautiful view. Lots of extra amenities like books, beach chairs, etc. Walking distance to store, restaurants and world's best cinnamon rolls.

Amazing property

Fabulous resort and location

Everything was represented accurately in the listing. This resort location is perfect. Close to the beach walkway yet not in the middle of so many resorts. Close to a great coffee shop, pastry-pizza spot and co-op market. Grounds are very well kept. Condo was perfect for 6 adults. Clean and everything worked. We had a small issue with the tv In living room. The owner Carl was very responsive. A maintenance person from resort came within 10 mins to fix the problem. Highly recommend this place.

Convenient updated condo

We had a great week at the Papakea Condo. Great location with some really solid food choices nearby. We had a minor issue upon arrival but Carl is very responsive and helpful. There were some beach chairs and floats on hand which was super useful and appreciated. We liked the door code for entry instead of keys- one less thing to lose! The property has 2 gazebo areas that we used for takeout/outdoor dining with a great sunset view. We also saw folks grilling out there. The on-site staff was very friendly and helpful. We would not hesitate to rent this condo again.

Maui

This property was ideal for our family of 6. It accommodated us all easily. We had a beautiful view of the ocean and access to the water and pools easily. There was also many available activities within walking distance from the place. Carl was accommodating and so helpful with ideas of places on the island. Our trip was amazing. We highly recommend!!

Nice property, great location convenient to shops and beach. Some initial miscommunication about door code but owner went out his way on his own time to quickly resolve the issue. Complex is a little dated but well maintained

Amazing Stay

Overall amazing property and stay, the property was just as pictured. Great location and easy access to the beach and local spots. Carl left extra equipment for us to use, which we all appreciated it a lot. Highly recommend!

Perfect location

Girls trip for graduation and couldn’t have been better. Great location and easy access for grocers and food trucks. Beach access and pool. Unit was supplied with beach chairs, boogie boards and beach toys. Highly recommend.

Perfect rental for family with teens/young adult children.

The unit is exactly as photos convey. The high ceilings and views of the ocean are amazing. We traveled to Maui for a wedding with our young adult sons and it was the perfect rental for them to come and go as they pleased - and with the keypad I never had to worry about them losing a plastic key. Every bedroom has it's own bathroom and shower which made getting ready simple. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals and snacks. The resort does not have enough loungers for all the guests but Carl's unit had beach chairs so we used those on busy pool days. Everything was perfect and we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you so much!

Wonderful time

We had a little snafu upon arrival but Mr. Brandes and the management company responded quickly. Great location, close to restaurants, groceries and attractions. Great views and the sound of the waves was very relaxing. This was our first trip to the islands and it may not be the last. I would recommend this condo to other groups seeking relaxation and close proximity to attractions. Papakea is very family oriented.

Exactly as advertised!

The views, location, and amenities on the property were great! The open bathrooms in the loft bedroom space and owner's suite took some getting used to, but everything was clean and comfortable.

Great location!

Overall great stay... At initial check in there were issues with the upstairs toilet and the AC unit, but after quick communication with Carl (the owner) things were quickly taken care of. My only concern was that the people in charge of cleaning the unit did not do much cleaning at all, so we had to do our own deep clean before feeling truly comfortable with our stay. Location-wise, you couldn't ask for a better place. Walking distance to a fun food truck park, coffee shops, ABC (mini-mart) and a grocery store. Definitely got my steps in this vacation! The view from our lanai was unbelievable - we saw sunsets, rainbows and sometime even whales playing in the ocean! This is a location my family and I plan to stay in again in the future - thanks Carl!

Excellent vacation in beautiful Maui

Carl was great to work with. He was so kind to provide a summary of the location, places to see, things to do and places to eat. That was so very helpful! There was nothing more he could have done to make our stay at Papakea more enjoyable. The communication with Chasen Rainbows, the property manager, was quite different. We had an issue with the air conditioning unit, which Carl could not handle from a distance, so we followed instructions and contacted Chasen Rainbows on our 2nd day. We never got a call back in the next 5 days and the issue was not resolved. (After communication with Carl, I believe he has tried to remedy the situation with Chasen Rainbows. Carl, it was great renting from you. The place is beautiful. Scenery & view from the lanai can’t be fully appreciated in pictures! Loved it!

GREAT Property!

Papakea C404 was a perfect spot for our family vacation! The unit was beautiful, and in the perfect spot. There is no beach right in front of the property, but it's a very easy walk to the sand, and the pools on the property are great, and there's a lot of grassy areas. The unit itself had everything we needed for a great family vacation!
