Somewhat disappointing and over-priced
Although the location of the property was very central and convenient, the accommodation was a bit shabby with chips out of the walls, quite unsafe and loose electrical fittings and a very damp and musty smell. The couple who greeted us were very helpful with our luggage. One of the reasons we booked this apartment was because in the reviews it mentioned that we would be given a voucher for car parking. This did not happen although most days we were able to park in the carpark near to the accommodation using my partner's disabled sticker. However, it was sometimes very difficult to find a space. The fridge, cooker and dishwasher were quite new but the rest of the apartment could have done with a bit of a re-fit. We appreciated that the building was old and historic but even so it could have been much improved with lighter and brighter decor in our opinion.
