"We were on a road trip and spent one night at this property, and it had all of the needed amenities, such as a microwave and refrigerator. It was extremely clean, the parking was easy and close to the cottage, and the staff was very nice and responsive. There is only one thing that I would suggest, and that is for management to put a caution sign on the rear gate, near the play structure, that leads to the forest. "I came with family for a memorial to my late husband. The house accommodated everyone! Each had their own room/bath. The house is immaculate and thoughtfully equipped. The ever-changing view is amazing. Thank you for sharing your home with us. "

"Loved the house! Super cute and spacious, great kitchen, option to use the garage was great, everything! Only slight complaint is all the beds feel like basically the same fairly hard foam which I didn’t really like, but otherwise it was an almost perfect stay. Will definitely think about staying again if I can make it back to Shelter Cove."

"The house was perfect for our needs. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen had every appliance known to man, and the views were spectacular. We would definitely come back! Notes for Shelter Cove: visit the Black Sand Beach and the tide pools below the lighthouse. Monitor the tides for the best times to go. Surf Point Coffeehouse has fantastic breakfast and lunch. Gyppo Ale Mill was our choice for two dinners and has a great cheeseburger, fried chicken sandwich, French fries, and limeade."

"This is my second year to stay at Comfort Cove for the annual "Gimme Shelter" (GS) kayak fishing tournament and community event. I came back because my experience last year was so positive. "While planing a visit for my father’s celebration of life we found this gem. Perfect location (for our visit), amazing views, and the cleanest and most comfortable hot tub to be found. Located next to a bend in the river, you get bubbling brook wadding pool 20’ from a wonderful back deck. Clear instructions for everything. "
