"We had a very enjoyable two day stay at Hillside. At check-in I was greeted warmly and it was a breeze. I was given information on the restaurant, bar and check out time at the end of my stay. Clear directions were given to our room. This property has several buildings with eight rooms in each. Our room included a small balcony with chairs and was shaded by large live oak trees. We did not use the pool, but it looked well kept and inviting. There is a small yard space with a covered overlook...

"after check in we tried to shower and there was no hot water available in the bathroom. even after letting the water run for 10 minutes the temperature was the same. I asked the desk clerk about it and there was little to no reaction or any action to inspect the issue or call a maintenance person to correct the issue. wont be coming back to this hotel. "

"This place was disgusting. They shouldn’t be allowed to have guests stay. Stained carpets, furniture, shower was gross. Toilet was dirty. Bugs! Did I mention bugs??!! It was so bad I left and didn’t go back. Avoid this hotel at all costs."
