"Everything was exactly as described. We had a wonderful time while there. If I had to list one negative, it would be the tight parking. "

"Really enjoyed this house. Guys weekend, we brought our boats, built a fire two nights. Awesome weekend!! The only negative which has nothing to do with the house, they gave us a phone number to call for fire wood. 25.00 for a wheelbarrow full, we ordered two, they brought it and gave us a bill for 75.00. 25.00 delivery fee……. And it wasn’t even that much wood. Saturday night we went down to the Publix and bought 3 bags of firewood for 8.00 per bag and got the same amount."

"We had a wonderful stay! The communication was great!!! I was thinking that the pool would be cold considering the indoor pool and one of the prior comments, but that was not the case. The pool was perfect. We live in Florida so I was delighted to be able to go into the pool and not be exposed to a ton of sun beating down on us. "This was a beautiful home. 4 adult friends each got own bedroom. Large open living area and screened patio very nice. Perfect for our stay to see manatees. Pool was lots of fun! Our stay in September was off season for manatees but did see 4 on boat tour. Our last day a dolphin and a came to backyard inlet to say bye. "

"We loved the Mermaid house! This is the perfect location! My kids loved fishing and swimming out back. Brought our dog too. The house is extremely clean and nicely decorated. Would definitely rent again!"

" Very clean - my friends kept saying this as we stay in rentals 2-3 times a year and this house was very clean. Host was very responsive to all inquiries. Enjoyed having kayaks available to use on the river and didn’t have to bring ours. The outdoor area was perfect with nice umbrellas and three loungers. The stairs to the bedrooms are steep - I suggest leaving suitcases downstairs. Thank you for allowing us to stay - had an excellent weekend. "

"We had an amazing long weekend here, and the house just as described and perfect for us! Great location on the river which was cool and clear, it was fun watching all the kayakers, SUPers and GoBoters go by. Our family tried scalloping for the first time, it was fun. The house is stocked with games and the kitchen has a variety of accessories in addition to the usual. We would definitely come back here!"

"PERFECT for our family gathering to celebrate a special birthday. I have never been to a VRBO with so many extras (games, pool toys, videos, pool table, poker table, KAYAKS, kitchen supplies galore even a waffle maker! Oh and chilled mugs in the freezer!!!!...) and so much to do. Not once was the TV on!!! But the best part was the view and all the dolphins that we saw! Rented the pontoon boat and went to the flats for a great day of fun. Ashley and David only a phone call away and ALWAYS...

"This house had everything we needed for 6 adults and 1 dog. The area is perfect for boating and kayaking. Furniture and beds were comfortable. We would stay again for sure. "
