Seafarer's Beach House Beach Front Property, Amazing Views!

Magnificent setting! Right on Kachemak Bay, with stairs accessing the beach during Spring, Summer, and Fall. See our changes! We have added a 3rd bedroom to this lovely home. The Seafarers Beach House, a 1700 sq ft home, is artfully decorated with Seafaring themes. On the main floor, overlooking the Bay, is a fully appointed kitchen, cozy living room, complete with a large screen TV for enjoying the game, a full bathroom with laundry, and a bedroom with a King bed. A spacious deck, with lounge chairs and a BBQ grill, is accessed from the living room. For a small additional fee, a lovely cabin in the yard provides a getaway for 2 with a queen bed in the loft. Cabin guests share the downstairs bath in the main home. The Cabin is not available for independent rentals. On the 2nd floor, you will find two bedrooms. The Master Bedroom has a king bed, flat screen TV, and a variety of books. The second bedroom has a King bed or can be converted to 2 extra-long twins. Both rooms have lovely views of the boats passing on the bay. Watch eagles soar by at window height. A truly special place.

    This was, by far, the most scenic and beautiful place we have ever stayed. It's hard to describe the panoramic view from the back deck that overlooks the ocean. We love hiking but still spent one day just walking the beach and watching sea otters and eagles. The house was beautifully decorated, and Connie was an amazing host who was quick to answer any questions we might have. It was also very conveniently located for everything we wanted to do. I would give it six stars if I could. We will return.

    Fabulous house in Homer

    If you've found this house on vrbo, look no further. Great house with awesome views. Right on the bay, just minutes from the spit. Almost had to pry my family off the deck to get them to go home.

    Absolutely wonderful! Everything about this home. The views, the cleanliness and well stocked this home was for our stay! If we ever make it back to Homer this would be the first place I check to see if it is available.

    You can't find a better place to stay in Homer

    First, the photos do not do this home justice. From the pictures, I worried that the common space might be too small. NOT AT ALL. The living room is comfy and the kitchen is terrific. All the bedrooms and beds are great. The view cannot be topped. From the deck, you can ogle the mountains and watch the boats go buy and check in on the otters. The house is extremely well equipped. They had everything we needed and more. The contact with Connie, who manages the property, was superb. We were a couple traveling with two single friends and all of us missed staying there the minute we left. Near by - within walking distance - is a great bagel store and a place to buy fresh fish. Town is about 10-15 mins drive. Needless to say, we loved our stay.

    Awesome view

    The deck view is worth a million dollars. Home was very clean and well equipped. We love the decor. Beds are comfortable. View from second floor king room is tremendous. Connie is great to work with. Loved walking on the beach. Saw many seals on the rocks along with many Sea Otters. Best place we stayed for our entire trip.

    Home away from home

    This was our 2nd stay and it is a lovely home with all the comforts of home. To sit in the living room on a cool rainy day with the fireplace on made the cool rainy day not so gloomy. Connie was a delight to work with. If we travel back to Homer this is the only place we will stay.

    Incredible Views!

    We stayed 5 nights at Seafarers. House was clean, beds comfy and the views of the bay, mountains and glacier were great! The beach itself is so unique as the tide changes are significant! So neat to watch. Our manager Connie is a dream and her passion for ensuring satisfaction from guests is appreciated! Back to the house, we are happy we stayed at this property!

    Excellent Views and Location

    This home provided epic views of water and mountains. The flowers were gorgeous. The home was very clean and well stocked. The only thing mentioned on line were kayaks and there were none. Overall beautiful home and location while visiting spit. I would stay here again!

    Amazing House!

    This property in Homer was so very lovely. Clean, large enough for the entire family, tiny house is amazing, great location, quiet neighborhood, great restaurants near by, unbelievable views. We had so much fun staying at this house!!

    Homer visit

    We really really enjoyed our stay and probably would return if ever in Homer again. I’d consider it a perfect trip, however, we didn’t really appreciate the visit from Debbie, who was there to water the flowers the night before we were to check out. The weather was cool and the flowers were in no distress. It felt like we were being “ checked up on” during our stay. Then another visit after that to take out the trash, which included a trip inside the house to take out our trash?? Why so suspicious? I’ve stayed in several VRBO’s in different locations and have never seen an owner or property manager during our stays. I personally don’t feel that it’s appropriate for any on sight visits during a stay unless there’s an emergency or some kind. It just felt strange and like ann interruption that didn’t like it. Other than that, a wonderful time.

    Great house/hub for Homer stays

    This is a beautiful home with all the amenities, very comfortable beds, and GREAT views. Owner was available to answer any questions or address anything we needed. Kitchen is awesome. This is a perfect hub for vacations in Homer as it has great views, is within 10 minutes of town or end of spit, and close to all scenic drives as well. Will stay here again in future.

    Fantastic Beach Front location with privacy

    This home was stunning! Located only a few minutes from the Homer Spit the beachfront property was centered on a glacier across the bay and had breathtaking views. We actually had a bald eagle fly about 10 feet from our balcony and watched a porcupine walk out to the water at low tide. The main floor featured a very nice kitchen, living room with gas fireplace, bedroom and full bath with a laundry area. The upstairs included two large bedrooms and a nice full bath. One feature that is really nice in summertime is the presence of ceiling fans. This helped regulate the temperature inside on the hot summer days. We enjoyed a fire by the beach and relaxed for hours on the deck. This was one of the best rentals I’ve ever had in Alaska!

    Family Fun

    Great property to experience the big changes in the ocean tide. It has the perfect deck for views of the basin. Our first time to visit Homer was great and we are so glad to wrap up our trip with this little gem and strolls along the Spit.

    It was like a living Nat Geo Magazine with a built in coffee maker. The view is extraordinary. Even if it didnt have the view I would give 5 stars for comfort, cleanliness, etc.

    Incredible!

    The pictures don’t do justice to the amazing water view. We had two teenagers and during our 5 day stay they didn’t even turn the tv on. That’s saying something. They loved walking the beach and being outside. We came to go fishing and the location was so close to Homer spit it made the early morning drive a breeze. Connie was incredibly responsive and went above and beyond to insure we had everything we needed for our stay.

    Amazing Views

    The views were spectacular! We saw eagles nearly everyday from the deck. The changing hues of the glacier were breathtaking. The house was very comfortable with every amenity provided. There was plenty of room for our family and the location was perfect. We have made so many family memories. We cannot wait to come back!

    Amazing Home with Amazing Views

    We had a great stay at this home. Everything was extremely clean, and it was a perfect location for us. It was a great base to go on day trips and a perfect place to enjoy a rainy afternoon. The views were incredible and we only wished we’re could’ve stayed longer.

    Gorgeous, comfortable, and well stocked

    The title says it all. We cooked must meals on site and everything we needed was there for cooking from pots and pans to spices and oils and lots of dishes. We were eight friends traveling together- 3 couples and two singles. There was room for all of us but because the two singles couldn’t share a room, one of them slept on sleeping pads. It worked but wasn’t ideal. Connie, the property manager was quick to respond to questions and was very helpful.
