The Green Flag awarded Holt Country Park (0.5 miles) has over 100 acres of woodland to discover and Holt is also home to the North Norfolk Steam Railway, where you can pick up the Poppy Line and enjoy a train ride to Weybourne and Sheringham on a diesel or steam train. There is a park and exercise area with excellent equipment for children and adults within a 1-2 minute walk from the property. The coastal villages of Blakeney for seal trips and Cley for bird watching are just five miles away. A little further along the coast road is the current home of the Earl of Leicester, Holkham Hall, which hosts numerous events throughout the year. Colourful beach huts decorate the vast sands at Wells-next-the Sea (19 miles) and the picturesque quay is just the spot to enjoy fresh fish and chips.
