A small grocery shop, family butchers, post office and a welcoming village pub can be found just off the main square. Lace up your walking boots or hop on a bike to explore the peaceful country lanes that surround the village, spotting wildlife and scenic views along the way. Tamar Lakes (3.5 miles) is a nearby gem, offering boat trips, fishing, and a variety of water-based activities. You’re also within 10 miles popular Bude and Widemouth bay beaches and the stunning Hartland Heritage Coast, with sandy spots like Welcombe Mouth Beach (8.5 miles) and Picturesque Clovelly and Westward ho! beach (9 miles).
Drive up the large, gravelled driveway with plenty of parking and step into the spacious, welcoming hallway with plenty of room to leave coats and boots. Light and bright, the generous kitchen/diner features painted cabinets, quality worktops, and everything you need to whip up delicious meals. Serve up family dinners at the large dining table on the opposite side of the room. After mealtimes, head into the cosy lounge, where comfortable sofas and a Smart TV create the perfect space to unwind – whether you're planning tomorrow’s adventures or settling in for a film night. Children will love the adjacent games room, complete with a quarter-size billiards table and a stack of board games. A handy WC and a versatile utility room with laundry facilities round off the ground floor. Upstairs discover five well-appointed bedrooms, two benefit from en-suite bathrooms, while the remaining three share a stylish family bathroom. The largest bedroom features a super-king-size bed with a zip-and-link setup for flexibility and a Smart TV for late-night movies, as does the second room which is a king-size room. The three additional bedrooms are also furnished with super-king-size zip-and-link beds, allowing them to be made up as twins to suit your group’s needs.
On sunny days, step out into the enclosed garden via patio doors in both the dining area and the games room. The large grassy lawn is perfect for children to play safely, while the patio area is equipped with outdoor furniture, a BBQ, and your very own hot tub – everything you need for lazy afternoons or evenings under the stars.
