Heath Farm is ideal for those wanting a relaxing holiday within the unspoilt area of North Devon, perfect for families.. Ground Floor:

Living/dining room: Smart TV, DVD Player, CD Player, Ipod Dock, Woodburner, French Doors Leading To Patio

Kitchen: Electric Cooker, Microwave, Fridge/Freezer, Dishwasher, Washing Machine, Tumble Dryer

Bedroom 1: Kingsize (5ft) Bed Ensuite: Cubicle Shower, Toilet

Separate Toilet.

First Floor:

Bedroom 2: Double (4ft 6in) Bed

Bedroom 3: 2 x Zip and Link Single Beds (Super Kingsize On Request), Single (3ft) Bed

Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial logs for wood burner included. Cot, highchair and stairgate. Doggy extras. Large enclosed lawned garden with patio, garden furniture and barbecue. 40-acres of pasture and woodland (shared with other properties on-site). 3 dogs welcome, to be kept on lead at all times except in the enclosed garden (working farm). Fishing available on-site (bring your own rods). Bike store. Private parking for 3 cars. No smoking. Please note: There is a fishing lake 440 yards away.. Nestling in glorious Ruby Country, an unspoilt area of North Devon, Heath Farm provides the ideal relaxing holiday location. These two delightful holiday properties are spacious and well presented and retain much of their original charm. Each stand within their own large lawned gardens which provide a great place for children to play and al-fresco dining. Riding, cycling and walking trails are in abundance and the famous Tarka Trail, 8 miles, is popular with cyclists and walkers. A public footpath passes through the owner’s 40 acres of pasture and woodland. Guests are free to enjoy the grounds and if you bring your own fishing rod you can cast your line in one of the owner’s three coarse fishing lakes. Bradworthy is only 2 miles away with village shops and amenities along with a popular 14th century village inn. Some of the west country’s prettiest coastline is within a short drive including Bucks Mill, Clovelly and Hartland. Bude, famous for its surfing and sandy beaches, is 10 miles and has restaurants, indoor splash pool, ten pin bowling, golf, shops and galleries. The Big Sheep and The Milky Way adventure parks are close by and the villages of Boscastle and Tintagel and The Eden Project are all within easy reach. Water sports are available within 5 miles. Shop and restaurant 2 miles, pub 1½ miles.

Fantastic cottage, lovely owners nearby if you needed anything. Cottage is very well equipment and a fantastic idea to prove dog tags with local numbers on just in case. The log burner is amazing although we only used it once. We are looking forward to returning again and would highly recommended it.

Excellent accommodation, the photos do not do it justice. My first words when I walked into the accommodation were "WOW"! I can honestly say that it has been the best accommodation that we have stayed in. The accommodation was spotless and well maintained, and whilst it was short on items (kitchen utensils, bowls, serving spoons etc) this is due to the restrictions placed upon them due to COVID19. However, we managed, I did buy a few items to make things a little easier as trying to feed a large family was a little difficult. The hosts are very friendly, nothing is to much trouble, they are not intrusive but around if you need them and always happy to chat. Even asking the children if they would like to assist with collecting the eggs. They thought this was great and came back with 1/2 dozen eggs. The gardens & lawn are kept tidy, plenty of room for the children and dogs to run around safely. It was easy to get to the local village as well as further afield to places like Bude, Westwood Ho & Bideford. There are plenty of supermarkets within easy reach to stock up on essential items. We didn't do a lot of sightseeing as this was more of a restful holiday, and due to current situation tourist areas/attractions were very busy. The location is very tranquil and peaceful an ideal location to rest and recuperate. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

The Old Mill, was beautiful, had everything that you could possibly need.

The Old Mill, was beautiful, had everything that you could possibly need. The garden was brilliant for our 3 dogs to run around in and burn off some excess energy. The owners Jane and Mary Ann are very welcoming. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet that this property provides. I would recommend to everyone although a car is needed to get around, and I would love to stop there again.

We had a great stay at the Old Mill. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful and the accommodation and gardens were lovely. We particularly appreciated the goodies in the kitchen on arrival. The large dining and lounge space was perfect for our family. The cottage was spotless and comfortable. The only minor negatives were the smallish size of the fridge and no Wifi. We would be happy to stay again.

We had a fantastic break here at Mill Cottage. The cottage is well equipped with everything you need. The fishing lakes were an added bonus & lovely to walk around with the dog whilst my husband fished. The owners were so friendly & helpful. We will return.

We've stayed in many cottages over the years and this one was by far the best. Well equipped, beautifully clean, great location, peaceful and relaxing. We had a fantastic week and hope to go again. The owners are lovely people and we can't thank you enough - especially for the wonderful shortbread, marmalade and eggs!

Lovely cottage, very well presented with everything you need. Dogs made very welcome with some thoughtful touches, for example, dog tags with the cottage address on in case they get lost, which is a stroke of genius. Would recommend for a very relaxing holiday.

Lovely holiday cottage had absolutely everything you need. Beautifully decorated and cosy. Beds were comfortable, clean with modern decor too. Large garden area outside which the dogs loved. Owners are brilliant, any issues they are sorted straight away. Lovely gift of fresh eggs and shortbread on arrival which added a lovely touch. Local pub a short drive but food good value and welcoming atmosphere. Wishing the cottage had been closer to other villages Would be the only downside. Lake was nice to walk round and take son with his fishing rod. Definately recommend.

The Cottage was lovely.

The Cottage was lovely. We arrived to fresh eggs and homemade Short-Bread.. All rooms were comfort and cosy. Garden is big; was perfect for our German Shepherd cross to run around in. Fishing Lake is a short walk away; Dad enjoyed that and caught well too. We had a few little things not go to plan, eg. TV broke but Jane and Mary-Anne were straight on the case, got the repair man out as soon as possible and even offered us their own TV in the mean-time.. couldn’t fault a single thing about our stay. They are lovely amazing people. Really good to chat to and ask any questions needed or even to just have a general conversation with.. Always helpful and friendly. Beware of Henry the Cockerel in the Mornings ? He wakes up early. Lovely stay and would defiantly come again.. Already planning to do so in a few years. Thank you!
