Nice House But Would Not Stay Again.

We stayed in this property for 10 nights from the end of April. It was light, airy, clean. The pool was lovely, nicely warmed and clean with the pool guy coming to clean it a couple of times while we were there. We liked location and could walk to most places and the beach was just across the road. A few drawbacks....The amenities in the house were very scant. The kitchen had barely enough crockery and very few wine glasses. This was addressed by the property manager very quickly and they were duly delivered. There was one tea towel and a washing-up sponge and a small bottle of dish washing liquid. We had to buy a couple of tea towels and cloths to get by. There were no cleaning products apart from a small pack of wipes so we had to buy spray cleaner, extra toilet roll, kitchen roll and wash the hand towels all the time so we could use them daily. We have stayed in dozens of villa rentals over many decades and this was probably one of the poorest for amenities. We also had only one bin liner left for us to use so we used shopping bags rather than buy a whole box. No dishwasher tablets apart from one, only a couple of laundry pods so we bought those.The bedrooms were nice and spacious and the beds were comfortable and clean but there is a big problem with the Master Bedroom. The wall with the adjoining property's bedroom is so thin you can hear your neighbours very clearly which is really awful. We had to move rooms. We told the managers. Not good and spoilt the stay for us.

Loved the rental

The rental was clean and everything was just as described. The kitchen was well stocked with any cooking utensils you would need. Our favorite part was grilling by the pool while the children played. The couch was stained and broke down, that’s the only negative we found. We would stay here again.

Vacation time

The place was great. I hated to leave It had everything you needed. TVs in all the bedrooms. They had a beach cart to take to the ocean. The pool was my best part of the house. It was nice and big and it was heated. Water is always warm from morning tonight. The only thing I would say is too bad they did not have chairs on the deck. But it was still great.

Needs attention

Just disappointed in our overall experience with AMI. The manager was fabulous. But unfortunately he can't do everything himself and he has employees that he counts on. When we got to this facility, there was chocolate the whole way up the wall to the master bedroom that could have easily been wiped off (this same chocolate was on the cloth blinds in the double bed room). I went and bought cleaning spray safe four walls and sprayed it and cleaned it all up. Needs painted because there's obvious suitcase streaks the whole way up and down all the hallways. Little stuff such as towel racks in the bathroom were moved so there's holes where they used to be that need filled in and painted. Both toilets didn't function properly. Every third flush, we had to take the tank lid off and adjust the chain/stopper. Refrigerator door slams back because someone broke the stopper. Bottom drawer in frig needs replaced. It's broken. The corner bottom lazy Susan door, top bracket, is broken and needs fixed. Toaster didn't work. But worst of all is that there were some sort of blood sucking insect in the room with double beds as my boys could feel them biting or sucking, whichever way you want to say it. They had horrible welts on them. I sanitized everything, tore the beds apart to sanitize them, washed all comforters, bedding (spent 9 hrs doing this) and they were still there. Called to have exterminator come out. Took two days and when he came, he said that AMI said to spray for ants. They weren't ants. I sent pics. The guy that came said they weren't ants but were some sort of "blood sucking" insect and found the different types of them that he said looked like need bugs, some sort of cockroach, and flea. Last night was our last night there and I got not up so bad during the night that my entire legs are nothing but big welts. And this was in a different room so they're obviously traveling the house. What was to be a relaxing vacation was stressful and a lot of work. I feel bad for the owner of the property because they probably don't know their place is like this. You could tell they had done some upgrades to their master bathroom and kitchen. I would not be happy if I paid a property management company to maintain my place and it was like this.

Great first time in AMI

Property was exactly as listed with a few good surprises. We had brought our own cooler and beach wagon, but they did have one of each on site, as well as box fans in each closet which our toddler can't seem to sleep without. Short walk to the beach and short distance to everything on Holmes Beach.

HS spring break

Our suggestion is to check the kitchen appliance before renting the property. The toaster and ice maker were not working properly. In addition, a hair dryer is not that expensive to have for your guest and a functional grill that is not falling apart could be beneficial.

Perfect location!

Great place. Just as described! Would stay again and reccomend to others. Management co nice and accurate. Easy to communicate wirh . No problems during our stay. Cable could be a bit better.

Outstanding!

Thoroughly enjoyed this house, wow! It had all the amenities you require. The house is extremely well decorated and we all had our own room. The pool outside is large and was always heated perfectly! Kitchen well equipped - only missing a pizza cutter. The pillows supplied could have been softer and we struggled to sleep on the provided ones. The TV directions were not accurate and I had to troubleshoot the cabling system and eventually got it working. The garage could have been swept cleaner and still had quite a bit of sand when we arrived. Unfortunately the rooms are back to back and could hear the neighbors in their room talking loudly. The location was perfect! Would definitely recommend! Loved the layout, location and the service! We will be back!
