"Beautiful elegant cottage, wonderful ambiance and surrounded by incredible scenery. Equipped with everything you could think of and more. Owners super helpful and friendly.Pool a bonus, brilliant to chill after visiting the local beauty spots some of which are practically on the doorstep.The only downside - we only had 3 nights. Hope to visit again at sometime."

"Excellent communication from host & easy check in with key lock. Room was spacious & comfortable for our family of 4. The only negative was that we hadn’t realised that bathroom would be downstairs, which resulted in the kids being a bit anxious about going on their own, as it’s a shared house and they weren’t comfortable wandering around the house on their own with strangers. Not a problem for the adults, but the kids weren’t comfortable. "

"Gorgeous cottage, clean, comfortable and quiet. Lots of places around to visit and lots of lovely restaurants. Bakewell is a lovely town, lots of shops and eateries. Highly recommend Chatsworth house, the gardens are amazing. Had gorgeous meals at the Derbyshire arms, just a short walk from cottage and the Chakra lounge, a beautiful vegan/vegetarian Indian with gluten free options in Bakewell. "

"We were double booked into the house we had paid for but we were taken to a different one around the corner. For the price we paid it was adequate and clean. Sharing a bathroom with 3 lads who had also been double booked into the same house was not too much of a problem and having a fully functioning clean kitchen helped to catering costs reasonable. "

"We came to Matlock with the kids and grandkids from Canada, to show them their roots! The house was just perfect. A perfect spot for family and friends to visit, and we were within walking distance of shops, pubs, and a park. Daniel was very quick to answer any questions we had. We had an amazing time, and it was hard to leave!"

"The host never got in touch with us. We was out hiking in the Peak District and was on edge as the host wasn’t replying to us. Calling kept going to voicemail. We raised this issue with customer support however they couldn’t get in touch either so they had to cancel our booking and refund us. So we had to drive home after waiting outside of the property and spend even more money on fuel also. Absolutely shocking. Hopefully this host is removed from the site for wasting our time.
