"Very good location. As close as you can get to the walk to the beach or the beach bus stop. Immaculate children’s playground behind but, be warned, the playground noise started by 7.30am most days as we were lucky to have great weather. The top floor of the house is a nice space and worked well for us. The decor is outdated in the bedrooms and bathrooms, but we found the beds to be very comfortable. Kitchen equipment and utensils need some replacing and replenishing - eg. new chopping boards...

"Cottage could not be more central in Wells. Access was a bit difficult via the key box, Central heating system was excellent. Very steep stairs so not so great for those less mobile. Overall, perfect for groups of about 6."

"House suitable for our family group and children enjoyed cinema room. Shortage of mirrors in suitable locations. Eg by plugs for hairdryer. Location good and you don’t notice the large public car park. External household bins used by general public! We enjoyed our stay and would book again!"

"A truly exceptional find this little gem of a pub hotel in a beautiful location in Norfolk. Stayed in a cabin and it was lovely, clean and well presented, the bed was very comfortable and bathroom well appointed. Staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast options were very good we had the full breakfast which was excellent, the evening meal was delicious, the pies are out of this world. Can’t fault this pub and can’t recommend it enough. Will definitely stay there again. "

"We had a great two night stay at The Wheatsheaf in West Beckham. A quiet, clean and very comfortable room. Lots of tea, coffee and hot chocolate to choose from. The cooked breakfast was amazing - plenty of choice and all freshly cooked for you. We also ate at the pub in the evening, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Loved the cocktails. Check in was easy. The staff were really lovely and could not have be more friendly, welcoming or attentive. "
