"Had not stayed here before. Looks like very recent total update of hotel. Always liked Fairfields. Manager was great & helped find nice restaurant for Sunday dinner. Would definately recommend & would stay here again."

"I have been to Hilton Southern Pines, NC before and enjoyed. This time I saw a few differences. Towels were SO inadequate for a Hilton hotel. Thin, with threads hanging , just not what you expect from a Hilton. For some reason, our room was not cleaned, bed not made and no fresh towels. The pillows were HORRIBLE, not sure why they changed their pillows but again, not what I would expect from a Hilton hotel. "Breakfast was all carbs; no protein of any kind, but waffle was good, especially Strawberry flavor. Man who checked us in was quick and efficient, but quite friendly in a casual way. Door frames are beginning to rot at the bottom like from flooding. Thresholds are tall, as if to keep water out of the room, which made entry with a Rollator clumsy. "The rooms was disgusting. The toilet seat wasn’t attached to the toilet. The room smelled of urine and cigarettes. The bed spread had stains that looked like human waste on it. We did not stay at the property"
