This fantastic five bedroom, three bathroom home offers an incredible amount of space for families, groups and longer stays, comfortably accommodating up to 10 guests. With multiple living areas, five generous bedrooms, three bathrooms, a large renovated kitchen and dining area, outdoor entertaining and a flat backyard, there is plenty of room for everyone to enjoy time together without feeling crowded.

There are three bedrooms located downstairs. The first features a queen bed with an electric blanket and its own private ensuite. This bedroom and bathroom form part of the older section of the home and have not been renovated to the same standard as the newer areas. The bedroom has older carpet, while the ensuite is simple and functional with an open shower, vanity and toilet. It may not be the newest part of the house, but it provides a comfortable bedroom with the added convenience of a private bathroom.

The second downstairs bedroom is another wonderfully spacious room featuring a queen bed, panel heater and wardrobe space. The third downstairs bedroom is set up with two single beds, a panel heater and storage, making it an ideal room for children, friends or guests who prefer separate beds.

As you continue through the house, there are multiple spaces to relax and unwind, including a comfortable living and TV room. This gives larger groups the flexibility to spread out rather than everyone needing to use the same living space.

Continue towards the rear and the home opens into its impressive renovated section. A large central dining area provides a fantastic gathering place, with a generous dining table and bench seating creating plenty of room for shared meals, breakfasts or an evening drink together. Heat pumps throughout the main living areas help keep the property warm and comfortable during Hobart`s cooler months.

The spacious renovated kitchen is one of the highlights of the home. There is excellent bench and preparation space, including a large island bench, along with an induction cooktop, two wall ovens, dishwasher and all the essential appliances and equipment needed for a comfortable short or extended stay.

Kitchen windows open towards the outdoor alfresco area, helping connect the indoor and outdoor entertaining spaces. Step outside onto the deck and you will find outdoor seating and a BBQ, providing a relaxed spot for an afternoon drink or casual meal.

Beyond the deck is a flat backyard with plenty of space for the kids to get outside or have a kick of the soccer ball. Having this amount of outdoor space while remaining so close to central Hobart is a fantastic feature for families.

The renovated laundry is located towards the rear of the home and includes both a washing machine and dryer. There is indoor clothes drying space as well as direct access outside to the external clothesline, making the home particularly practical for longer stays.

Located off the laundry is the beautifully renovated main downstairs bathroom. This spacious bathroom features a large walk in shower, dual vanity, toilet and underfloor heating, providing a comfortable and modern bathroom for guests using the downstairs bedrooms.

Head back through the home and upstairs to find the remaining two bedrooms. Both are generously sized and feature queen beds, panel heaters and wardrobe or hanging space. One of the upstairs bedrooms also has its own television, providing another place to relax away from the main living areas.

At the end of the upper level is the home`s third bathroom, complete with a shower, toilet, vanity and underfloor heating.
One important thing to be aware of upstairs is the lower roofline at the top of the staircase. Taller guests in particular will need to watch their head when reaching the top of the stairs.
There is also a locked owner`s cupboard at the top of the stairs containing private belongings. This cupboard is not available for guest use, and we kindly ask that guests do not attempt to access it.

With four queen beds and two single beds across five bedrooms, three bathrooms, multiple living areas, a huge kitchen and dining space and a great backyard, this is a brilliant base for groups of up to 10 looking to experience Hobart together.

Guests have full access to the property. There are no shared spaces or areas that are off-limits during your stay.

Please note that there is one locked owner`s cupboard at the top of the stairs containing private owner belongings. This cupboard is not available for guest access.

New Town is a fantastic base for experiencing Hobart, offering the convenience of an inner city location while maintaining the relaxed feel of an established residential neighbourhood.

You are approximately 10 minutes by car from the heart of Hobart CBD, making Salamanca, the waterfront, Battery Point and the city`s restaurants and attractions easy to reach. Head in the other direction and MONA is also approximately 10 minutes away, putting two of Hobart`s biggest drawcards within easy reach.

North Hobart`s popular dining and restaurant precinct is just a short drive away, while supermarkets, cafes, shops and everyday essentials can all be found throughout New Town and the surrounding suburbs.

Hobart Airport is approximately 20 minutes away by car depending on traffic, making the property a convenient option for guests arriving from interstate.

Having a car is the easiest way to make the most of the location, with excellent road access into Hobart and towards the northern suburbs and MONA.

Hobart CBD and MONA are both approximately 10 minutes away by car, while Hobart Airport is around 20 minutes away depending on traffic. Rideshare and public transport services are also available throughout New Town.

There is excellent off street parking at the property, with enough room for approximately three to four vehicles. Cars can be parked on the concrete driveway at the front of the home or in front of the timber gate on the right hand side.

There is no garage or undercover parking.

The property combines an original section of the home with a substantial modern renovation. While the kitchen, dining area, laundry and two of the bathrooms have been beautifully updated, some of the front areas retain their older finishes.
In particular, the downstairs queen bedroom with private ensuite has older carpet and a more dated bathroom. Both remain comfortable and fully functional, but we like guests to know what to expect before arriving.

Two bedrooms and one bathroom are located upstairs and require the use of stairs. Please take particular care when reaching the top of the staircase, as the roofline is low and taller guests will need to duck their head.

There is also a locked owner`s cupboard at the top of the stairs. This contains private belongings and is not available for guest use, so please do not attempt to open or access it.
