From Mirador, you have a fantastic view that changes with the light and weather throughout the day. You can enjoy it through large windows from inside or from the spacious terrace, which is protected from the east and north winds – a small luxury in the Norwegian climate. The cabin feels naturally connected to its surroundings.



The interior reflects the landscape outside: soft green colors from the mountains, deep blue from the sea and sky, and muted gray from the cliffs. The colors create a calm, harmonious atmosphere where nature feels present, even indoors.



Several beautiful hiking trails start right outside the door and take you to local mountain peaks with fantastic views of the Ryfylke fjord landscape. Secure climbing routes at Grønvik are only a short walk away (less than 3 km). The area offers activities all year round, both in the mountains and by the sea, and there is a guide to tours and local tips in the cabin. What makes Mirador special is the contrast – mountains and marked trails right outside the door and the calm fjord just below. The fjord below the cabin is not just something to look at – it can be used all year round for fishing, cold water swimming, and SUP on calm winter and early spring days.



Excursions to Preikestolen and Lysefjorden take about an hour. In winter, you can ski in Lyngsheia (30 minutes away) or Gullingen (about an hour away). The nearest grocery store is in Fister (7 km), and you can buy fresh produce from local farms and live crabs directly from a fisherman in the area.
