Biggest drawback for this particular room is that the lights outside the room keep the room lit up like daytime even in the dead of night. There are no blockout shades. That would be a solid addition for this room. I love the pool facilities but this property desperately needs a dedicated ice machine. "We stayed for three nights in the Violet room and it was delightful. This place isn’t “fancy” in the modern materialistic sense, but the staff were wonderful, its clean and well maintained for being right on the beach, super quiet, convenient to everything, and best of all, the beachfront is unmatched in its beauty and accessibility. We visited Bean Point and Coquina Beach, and found that the beachfront right out our door at Cedar Cove is as good as it gets! Highly recommend :)"

Only one employee to answer phones for the whole system Could never reach anybody all day by calling Room wasn’t ready as promised , keys don’t work, had to wait 30 min for worker to bring new keys Not a private beach , as described . No nearby umbrellas or chairs. Desk person seems uncaring . Would not return . Perhaps it’s their “ lower end “ property so nobody cares about customer ."

"The only really good thing about this hotel is the location, which is really excelent. Otherwise it is very far away from being a 4 star hotel, as it is posted. I would say it can barely be classified as a 2 star. I booked for 3 people, 2 adults and 1 child. The room had one Queen bed and one sofa bed, that was not ready after we checked-in. I arrived around 7:30 PM and the office closes at 9PM. So, if I had arrived a little bit later, my 12yo daughter would have to squeeze with us in a queen...

"The room was modern and clean. Only negative there was there wasn’t a microwave. The issues were that the check in office is at a different location with no parking. After walking to the office, I learned that parking near your room is also not guaranteed. We did get lucky and found a spot but did not want to drive anywhere and loose our spot."

"Absolutely terrible experience. Our Father’s Day weekend was completely ruined. Upon checking in, we immediately noticed the AC in our room wasn’t working. After reporting the issue, we waited over four hours before being provided with a portable AC unit. Unfortunately, the unit was incredibly loud, making it nearly impossible to sleep.
