"Wish check-in time could be earlier, 4 pm wastes the whole day, noon or 1 would be better especially since we paid for the whole day. Enjoyed the screened-in porch after I swept the leaves outside and cleaned the table and chairs; they were very dirty. Wish we could have used the gas grill but it needs cleaning as well as the kitchen oven needs cleaning. The railings on both the deck and stairways outside are in need of repair, loose boards and weak from the weather. Both sliding door locks...

"We wanted a place deep in the woods but more comfortable than camping. This place overdelivered! It was perfect! It's in the woods but close enough to enjoy a lot of different activities in the Taylor's Falls area. And clean with all of the amenities needed. Plenty of space for everyone (3 adults) And the wifi worked great for getting out that far"

"When we checked in the cabin was dirty. There were cooked tater tots in the oven. Toilets were dirty . Concerns about stairs going to the lake are rotting way. Definitely not safe the hand rail go up the stairs is very lose and the first step going in bad shape aslo. The view from the deck is nice. The dock is definitely wouldn't go on ."

"Very well decorated northern feeling cabin with a lot of family history! Very clean and welcoming with many updated features. Full kitchen, large saunas, and awesome front covered porch. We spent most of the weekend out on porches! Would highly recommend for any family or small group trips and make sure to check out Jay Cooke State Park near by!"

Upon arrival, we discovered it was extremely dirty, with noticeable dog hair (or some other type of hair) embedded in the bedding and mattress area.
