Jim's Direct Oceanfront 3BR Penthouse HHI Villa

507 Shorewood is a 3 Bedroom Oceanfront end unit on the 5th floor and offers breathtaking, Panoramic Oceanfront Views. The unit has been recently renovated with lovely artwork and new furniture/floors throughout. A rare find!

The master bedroom offers a king bed with a private bath and Flat screen TV. Guests have access to a sliding glass door leading to the balcony with an unobstructed view of the ocean and beach.

The second bedroom offers a king bed with a private bath and Flat screen TV.

The third bedroom offers 2 twin beds and plenty of storage space. The third bathroom is located in the hall just outside the bedroom with a combination bathtub/shower.

The main space features a fully equipped kitchen, laundry room, dining room and living room. The living room has another Flat screen TV and a sleeper sofa.

Towels, linens, and bath soap/shampoo are provided. There is no smoking in the unit. Pets are not permitted. Please note - no items may be hung from or attached to the balcony railings at anytime.

The Shorewood Complex is located in the highly desirable Forest Beach area and is within walking distance to Coligny Plaza which offers dozens of shops and restaurants. There is a large oceanfront swimming pool with zero-entry and a water feature for kids to play. Other amenities include a children’s pool, a hot tub, an outdoor shower, and a private beach walk.

Excellent unit with minor issues

We are long time HHI visitors and have never stayed in this part of the island. We have always stayed in more private areas and honestly, that impacted our impression of our stay. We have also avoided July because of the crowds. But with a teacher daughter, peak season was necessary. The unit, itself was in good shape. I had pretty much what I needed to cook for the family. All the appliances were fine. Beds were comfortable. I loved the separation for a family that included grandparents. There is a second master with a kid's bedroom in a separate wing. Very nice. The pool was terribly crowded, but again....peak season. The view is wonderful. Very fairly priced unit for the time of year with other properties with the same owner in the same building for other members of our family. Very nice. Beds were very comfortable. We would recommend this owner and properties for large families and would stay there again, but we really like less congested parts of the island.

The condo was perfect and the location couldn't be any better. Enjoyed my coffee out on the balcony every morning. We had 6 adults and everyone was sad to leave. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

Great Stay at Jim’s Oceanfront!

Fantastic trip and condo! Clean, beautiful views, spacious and a great location. We loved the pool and beach it was great to be able to walk to the shops and restaurants at Coligny Plaza. The property manager, Nicole is wonderful and very responsive. We hope to return!

Beachfront Family Fun in Hilton Head

Family of 5 enjoyed our time on HHI with beachfront 5th story condo w/elevator. Quiet and clean 3BR/3BA with balcony. Beds super comfortable. Plenty of nice dishes/pans. Beach fun with bikes and kites. Property manager very helpful in suggesting bike/beach equipment rental delivered to property! Thanks Nicole! Under 10 minute walk to Coligny restaurants, grocery, and shops. Our family loves Skillets, Flatbread grille, and the Ice Cream Cone. We also enjoyed Pinckney Wildlife Refuge and the Tanger outlets. Great Family memories!! Thanks for sharing Jim :)

Wonderful stay!

Highly recommend. Beachfront with a great view. Spacious and clean condo. Had more room than we expected. Was well stocked with needed supplies (except more shampoo and conditioner would be great). Kids loved the pool. Complex felt safe and well-maintained, and there were many other families with kids. We walked to Coligny and surrounding restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

Great communication and location!

This property was conveniently located and as described in the VRBO posting. Communication throughout our planning and stay was top notch. Mostly clean. There are a few things around the condo that need to be fixed for the next guest. We had a great time with our family and will maybe stay here again.

Location, location, location

We had a wonderful weeks stay at Jim’s place. The condo was super clean, walls look freshly painted and plenty of kitchen appliances. I will forwarn, the king beds are so comfortable, you might not want to get out of bed. Having a great nights sleep is one of most important features I appreciate while away from home. I do think some extra love could be given to the bathrooms. They are clean, but dated and the living room furniture is getting worn and not very comfortable. We spent every eve on the patio mesmerized by the ocean, deer and all the bunnies on the property. You truly can’t beat the location and the evening breeze. The property is so well maintained and easy to access the ocean and Coligny. We made lots of memories and would recommend for future stays.

Great place!

While not ‘newly renovated’ the unit is very nice!! The furniture is very nice and comfortable. Nice Kuerig in the kitchen (pods and pot). Beds comfy too. Great communication with owner.

Great location but filthy dirt

The property is in a great location. The pool and beach are fabulous. Deck overlooks the beach which is great. But the property states recently renovated. Maybe 10 year ago. The kitchen.... coffee pot was dirty, 3/4 of everything in the kitchen had food stuck on it and had to be cleaned before we could use it because the dishwasher did not clean the dishes. There was missing closet doors and bathroom cabinet. Floors in the bathroom corners had caked on dirt that had been there awhile. The furniture was worn and dirty, as were the curtains. Lightbulbs were missing or out. The intake vent and vents in the bathrooms had at least an inch of dust caked on then and did not work well. The TV, unless you have accounts on all apps, there is not much to watch. The local channels were on YouTube, which we did not have an account for. Their solution was to sign up for the free trail, which was only 5 days, and we were there 11, after that it would cost us $50. I would only recommend for the location.

Great location

If you're looking for a location that's within walking distance of the beach, restaurants and shopping, this is the perfect location. The condo has a pool as well as direct beach access and is on the 5th floor with a beautiful view!

Amazing Location A+ View

We have stayed at several Shorewood properties and this is always a favorite for us. Beds are comfortable and nicely appointed condo. Very responsive host. Hope to stay here again.

Family stay

Overall we had a great experience. You can’t beat the location and the views. The unit is large and there was plenty of space for our family. It was clean and comfortable and is fully stocked in terms of pots and pans and dishes. We did bring our own cooking oils and seasonings. Master bathroom is small but that wouldn’t stop us from staying there again. The complex pool as perfect for our needs and a quick and easy walk to the beach. Overall great experience and we look forward to our next trip.

Highly recommend

You can see from the website picture that the corner penthouse view is panoramic. The 5th floor height augments a wonderful view of the beach. This is an older condo but the few minor issues paled in comparison to the view and very convenient location. Mr. Morreau was very easy to contact and responded almost immediately to questions. We certainly hope to return.

Thanksgiving Retreat

Very nice condo although a few items were questionable. Broken blind slats, not enough hand towels and garbage bags (glad we brought extra). Plus, we listened to construction workers repairing the units adjacent to us for 3 days (even Thanksgiving morning). We also had to endure renovation of the unit below us for 3 days. Not very pleasant. Obviously, the condo owner could not control the construction nearby but this solidifies my choice not to rent a condo again the next time we use VRBO. I'll stick with a rental home.
