Welcome to your island getaway! This Villa is in the Waterford section of Shipyard Resort and was recently redone with new furnishings and decor.

Shipyard Resort is an 800-acre gated community conveniently located in the heart of the south end of Hilton Head Island. Miles of walking and bike paths are cloaked with beautiful tropical palms, live oaks, tall pines, and spanish moss. A maze of lagoons and lakes beckon the fisherman as well as deer, egrets, herons and alligators. For the golfers, Shipyard boasts 27 holes of championship golf as well as Hilton Head Island School of Golf for lessons. Those who prefer tennis can sign up for clinics, lessons, and round robins at the World famous Van Der Meer tennis center at Shipyard. When you're ready to relax and enjoy the sun and the sand, you can use Shipyard's private beach access with free parking (just one mile away from your villa).

Your Villa is a spacious 1,280 sq foot unit with two levels and lots of outside space. It offers a full kitchen, dining and living areas, complete with 2 bedrooms, each with their own smart tv. Fast, free 400Mbps Wifi internet is available throughout the villa.

The first floor offers an open floor plan with a bright living room containing a queen sleeper/sofa, leather recliner, chair and a large ottoman. There's a large flat screen smart-TV with Spectrum cable. From the living room the french doors lead to a private, serene back patio overlooking the golf course where you can enjoy evening cocktails and have a meal. The dining room is great for family meals or for using as a desk area and seats six. The kitchen is fully equipped with newer appliances including a microwave, a Keurig coffee maker, fully stocked glassware and everything you need for cooking meals should you desire.

The 2nd floor is where you'll find both bedrooms and bathrooms. The master bedroom has a King size bed, large double closet, ceiling fan, large flat screen TV, large bathroom with an oversized walk-in shower. The 2nd bedroom sleeps two with twin XL beds and an adjoining bath complete with shower/tub. The upstairs also has a small washer/dryer unit available for those items that can't wait until you get home.

For nights in, there's family fun games in the cupboard including Yahtzee, Jenga, and Uno. During the days, the pool is available steps from the unit and is private to the Waterford community so rarely busy. When you're ready to enjoy the beach, the villa is about 1 mile from Shipyard's private beach access and owner's beach club. Help yourself to the beach buggy, chairs w/umbrella, and boogie board in the outside closet by the front door before you go! The beach club has a snack shack and you can also enjoy Sonesta's "Sandbar at Marker 72" beachfront restaurant and bar. To get to the beach you can enjoy a 35 minute walk, rent bikes and ride down shaded paths (in about 6 minutes), or drive and enjoy free parking very close to the beach with your pass. There are approximately 60 parking spaces available, as well as overflow parking at Port O' Call.

Maximum number of guests in the villa is 5 and the minimum age to rent is 25. Our villa is pet free and smoke free, no exceptions. We provide you with a complete supply of linens & towels, and starter kits for soap, toilet paper, paper towel, dish soap, & dishwasher packet.
